Item Obţinerea unor coloranţi din surse vegetale locale(CEP USM, 2024) Cojocaru, CiprianThis study aims to obtain and characterize natural dyes from local plant sources and agro-industrial waste for use in the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. For this Soxhlet and combined extraction methods were used, followed by sample concentration and recrystallization. Microscopic and spectral (FT-IR) analyses confirmed the presence of the natural dyes. The study highlights the importance of using agro-industrial waste for sustainable products, reducing environmental impact, and contributing to the economic development of the Republic of Moldova.Item Sinteza unor 1-(N-feniltiocarbamoil)-2-pirazoline potenţial biologic active pe baza unor azacalcone(CEP USM, 2024) Vînagă, AndreeaItem Obţinerea unui gel cu proprietăţi potenţial cicatrizante şi antioxidante pe baza extractului de Aloe Vera(CEP USM, 2024) Panainte, ValeriaThe study involves investigating and applying methods for extracting Aloe Vera pulp, determining its chemical composition, and assessing its antioxidant activity. The extract is incorporated into a gel with potential antioxidant and wound-healing effects, and the quality of the finished product is evaluated. Research results indicate that Aloe pulp contains bioactive compounds and possesses antioxidant activity. A cream-gel has been formulated with Aloe extract, which meets all quality standards.Item Obţinerea unor forme stabilizate ale acidului ascorbic pentru utilizare în producerea cosmetică(CEP USM, 2024) Radu, ElenaThe study carried out focused on the use of the Fischer reaction to obtain three stabilized forms of ascorbic acid: ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbyl stearate and ascorbyl oleate. The objective of the work was to find the reaction parameters to obtain high yields in the production of esters, by testing different synthesis conditions.Item SINTEZE DE NOI DERIVAȚI BENZOCHINOLINICI CU ACTIVITATE ANTICANCEROASĂ(CEP USM, 2024) Zbancioc, Gheorghită; Moldoveanu, Costel; Mangalagiu, IonelThis work synthesized various novel benzo[c]quinoline compounds, detailed their structural features, and examined their anticancer activity in vitro. First, the nitrogen atom in benzo[c]quinoline is quaternized, and the in situ-formed ylide is then subjected to a [3+2] dipolar cycloaddition reaction. A detailed investigation was conducted to determine how successful traditional thermal heating (TH) synthesis was in comparison to microwave (MW) and ultrasonic (US) irradiation. FTIR, HRMS, and NMR were the three spectral techniques that were used to prove the structure of all the obtained compounds. In an invitro single-dose anticancer experiment, all benzo[c]quinoline derivatives (quaternary salts and cycloadducts) that have previously been obtained were tested. The findings showed that the anticancer activity of the cycloadducts 5a-c and 6a-c is stronger than quaternary salts 3a-c. Compound 5a is the most active, exhibiting anticancer action on the majority of the cell lines examined, but compound 6c is the second most active, demonstrating notable mortality for the SR Leukemia cell line (17%). Correlations between the structure-activity relationship (SAR) are also included in the study.Item SYNTHESIS AND EVALUATION OF NEW 2-AZOLYLINDOLES – DERIVATIVES OF INDOLE-2-CARBOXYLIC ACID(CEP USM, 2024) Țiuleanu, Pavel; Marenin, Ivan; Shchekotikhin, AndreiIndole-2-carboxylic acid is a promising scaffold for the design of new compounds with application in biological studies and medicine practice. Its derivatives have shown a wide range of biological activity: antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory. As part of the presented study, the method for preparation of alkyl derivatives of acetoacetic ester has been optimized. These derivatives are intermediates for the synthesis of indole-2-carboxylic acid esters according to the Japp-Klingemann/Fisher methodology. Several methods for the transformation of indole-2-carboxylic acid ester into previously undescribed 2-azolilindoles - derivatives of triazole, thiadiazole and oxadiazole have been proposed. Acylthiosemicarbazide on indole-2-carboxylic acid scaffold has been used for synthesis of corresponded azoles. Depending on the reaction conditions, indole-2-carboxylic acid acylthiosemicarbazide is capable of undergoing intramolecular cyclization into one of the target azoles.Item AZINE DERIVATIVES WITH ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES(CEP USM, 2024) Mangalagiu, Violeta; Amăriucăi-Mantu, Dorina; Antoci, Vasilichia; Diaconu, Dumitrela; Mangalagiu, IonelAzine derivatives, especially pyridine, quinoline and their fused derivatives, are invaluable scaffolds in medicinal chemistry having a large variety of biological activities, antimicrobials including. In this work we present some recent results that we obtained in the field of azine with antibacterial, antifungal and antituberculosis activity. Some of the obtained results are very promising, the antimicrobial activity of some azine derivatives being spectacular.Item ROLUL COBALAMINEI ÎN PROCESELE DE AUTOPURIFICARE RADICALICĂ ÎN MEDIUL ACVATIC(CEP USM, 2024) Lis, Angela; Gladchi, Viorica; Blonschi, Vladislav; Cisteacov, Maxim; Bunduchi, ElenaThe main purpose of this research is to study the role of Cyanocobalamin (CNCbl) in aquatic ecosystems. The spectrophotometric method was used to determine the inhibition capacity and the concentration of OH radicals using PNDMA traps. As a result, it was found that, on the one hand, CNCbl is a reducing substance and leads to the consumption of oxidative equivalents, resulting in its oxidation. High inhibition capacity values and low OH radical values confirmed this. On the other hand, under irradiation, CNCbl can also act as a sensitizer. It actively absorbs photons in the UV and visible range, transitions to an excited state, and then transfers the electronic excitation energy to dissolved oxygen in water, forming active species such as singlet oxygen and superoxide radical anion. In the presence of protons, the superoxide radical anion is reduced to hydrogen peroxide, which generates OH radicals upon irradiation. From the obtained results, it can be seen that under the conditions of natural aquatic systems, CNCbl will not disturb the processes of radical self-purification.Item ACTIVITATEA ANTIOXIDANTĂ A FILMELOR CU EXTRACTE DIN PRODUSE VEGETALE DE SOPHORA JAPONICA L.(CEP USM, 2024) Grigoraș, Carolina; Ciocârlan, Alexandru; Gonţa, MariaPlant products of S. japonica, more precisely: flowers, fruits and seeds collected in May and September, respectively, have been conditioned, and the products obtained serve as a source of raw material. The extracts were obtained from the vegetable raw material by maceration, distillation and hydrodistillation using various solvents, with the subsequent incorporation into the filmogenic mixture of chitosan:pectin, to obtain polymeric films. The obtained films were evaluated according to quality indices, thus the appearance, smell and mechanical properties were analyzed, the thickness of the films was measured and antioxidant properties were determined. The prepared biomaterials are uniform, thin, elastic, flexible, have no smell and have a specific color of the composition, manifest an antioxidant activity, but this varies depending on the composition of the prepared films.
