Abordări pragmatice ale conceptului de discurs dramatic [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Driga, Ina
Most researchers consider speech as a unit of pragmatics. We believe that the pragmatic interpretation of a text starts from the idea that literature, as an act of communication, can be singularized by the way in which the relationship between the transmitter and the receiver is created and operates. The speech is assigned the act value (proposal activity) of language, spoken or written, in the communication process generating the text (communication unit), which, in turn, receives product appropriation, being an achievement of the communicative intention of the transmitter. The dramatic speech is once written by an author and addressed to well-advised readers, but he also needs a second statement, the theatrical one, which bases his reception by the public. The dramatic discourse must take into account the norms of another art (the theatrical one) in its conception and elaboration. Among literary genres, the most difficult problems of reception are the dramatic genre, because the texts that belong to it can be approached in two different ways: either through reading or by staging. The dramatic speech is of great importance, because without dramatic speech, one cannot direct a theatrical performance. We believe that a show can be presented through sounds, lights, music, clothing, but can no longer be considered drama, but choreography, instead, the dramatic show is syncretic, makes use of several subsystems.

Strategii didactice în achiziția și învățarea limbii străine [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Șchiopu, Lucia
In the process of studying two languages, a clear distinction is made between acquisition, which refers to unconscious mechanisms of foreign language learning, and conscious learning, which involves deliberate, directed mental efforts. Acquisition, characteristic of early childhood and involving less explicit teaching, leads to fluent speech through interactive activities. The learning process, on the other hand, relies on more complex skills, such as the ability to acquire and explain grammatical structures and other linguistic elements. Language learning is a long-term process, characterized by extensive practice that integrates grammar with pronunciation, vocabulary, writing, and reading. Additionally, this article examines Content Based Learning Approach through the processes of reading and listening, which involve Bottom-Up Processing, recognizing letters and sounds, and Top- Down Processing, which is based on pre-existing knowledge. Pre-reading and pre-listening activities facilitate the understanding of a text or auditory message by activating relevant prior knowledge. Strategic reading encourages self-monitoring through guided questions, helping learners develop a deeper comprehension. Exploring these skills in the process of learning a foreign language requires integrating both acquisition and conscious learning strategies for effective language development.

Роль языка-посредника в преподавании русского языка как иностранного [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Вулпе, Ольга
The topic of the research is the role of the intermediary language in teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The issue of its use, especially at the initial stage, elicits varying opinions; however, the principle of taking into account the learners’ native language is widely recognized. The intermediary language is used for explaining material and assessing knowledge, which helps prevent errors caused by interference and facilitates better assimilation of the material. Positive transfer of similarities between languages accelerates learning. The intermediary language also assists in the semantic presentation of vocabulary, the explanation of grammatical structures, and the clarification of cultural aspects. At the initial stage, it is essential for managing the learning process and monitoring comprehension. The use of the intermediary language increases students’ motivation, improves material perception, and saves time. Its complete exclusion from the learning process may lower motivation and slow down progress.

Trăirile personajelor și evoluția subiectului din perspectiva fenomenelor naturii în romanul realist francez din secolul al XIX-lea [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Gheorghiță, Ana
Nature is present everywhere in the French realist writers works, contributing, through the skillful exploitation of the symbolic potential encoded in colors, shades, tones and halftones, to subject line development, to messages formulation, to affective states induction, etc. At the same time, nature descriptions are often constituted, in the plastic arts best traditions, in small landscapes and pictorial compositions. The purposes in which authors refer to nature phenomena are diverse, but necessarily closely related to the narrative context. In some cases, nature is beside the character throughout his whole life, its colors symbolizing his evolution over time, his constantly changing moods.

Этнокультурные параллели в названиях хлебных изделий у гагаузов, болгар и молдаван [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Сорочяну, Евдокия
In the report by Evdokia Sorochanu “Ethnocultural Parallels in the Names of Bread Products among the Gagauz, Bulgarians and Moldovans” the semantics and symbolism of ritual bread products and their names in the Gagauz dialects will be considered. Ethnographic material indicates that the Gagauz traditional system of flour and bread products was formed on the basis of archaic Turkic elements, which were subsequently layered with Balkan and South Bessarabian borrowings. Ethnolinguistic analysis showed that the Bulgarian and Romanian languages played a special role in the formation of the culinary ritual terminology of the Gagauz language. Many ethnocultural parallels were identified in the names of bread products among these peoples.

Schimbările climatice și reflectarea lor în literatura germană contemporană [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Grossu-Chiriac, Cristina
In response to the climate crisis and growing ecological awareness, contemporary literature has increasingly explored themes of environmental degradation and the strained relationship between humans and nature. The emergence of the literary subgenre“climate fiction” or “cli-fi” reflects the growing concern over ecological issues, exploring topics such as climate change, resource depletion, biodiversity loss, forced migration, and survival in a world affected by environmental collapse. Contemporary German literature addresses climate change, reflecting societal concerns about environmental degradation and the future of the planet. Authors like Frank Schätzing and Juli Zeh address the impact of the climate crisis, highlighting the complex and often tense relationship between humans and nature, explore ecological collapse and existential crises through genres such as ecological realism and dystopian science fiction, delving into a society struggling with existential and environmental issues. In this context, literature becomes an essential tool in raising public awareness and influencing political and social debates concerning the environment.

Omul între paradis și infern : reflecții despre romanele istorice ale lui Emilian Stanev [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Taraburca, Emilia
The article discusses Emilian Stanev historical novels, focusing on the complex nature of characters, of Bulgarian man from the past centuries, from the period of social and political cataclysms, who represents the agitated man, desirous for knowledge, being in a permanent search, tormented by doubts, lost between purity and sin, between faith and its denial, divided between pagan and Christian aspirations, the being who discovers in himself both the presence of Light and that of Darkness, who from his own experience comes to understand that the existence unity is built from the contrasts dialectics, when good and evil lose the boundaries delimiting them. He is the man crucified between God and Satan, who passes through the knowledge purgatory, realizing that one who has found Paradise also inherits Hell. The same paradigm also includes reflections/questions on nature of art (in this case, of painting) as a source of knowledge (beneficial, purifying or/and corruptible, tempting; free or serving religion and politics) of world and man.

Challenges encountered in handling phrasal verbs from a translation perspective [Articol]
    (CEP USM, 2025) Corcodel, Svetlana
The research is an attempt to find a number of peculiar aspects of phrasal verbs as a part of the language vocabulary. It has allowed to find out the process of phrasal verbs development and existence within the frame of the English oral communication and their proper equivalence in the Target language. This study is a good source of information for translators as end-users helping them choose what structure should be used, what information and meaning it should designate. Phrasal verbs are increasingly the topic of particular attention, because this field is always in evolution that depends on the development of the country, linguists, translators and specialists involved.
