Item Etichetele de produse alimentare – traducere, terminologie și specific cultural(CEP USM, 2024) Mucerschi, NataliaEtichetele produselor alimentare sunt mai mult decât simple texte, imagini și cifre. Acestea reprezintă o interfață între producător și consumator și furnizează informații esențiale despre produsele alimentare. În acest articol ne propunem să analizăm rolul și importanța etichetelor în comunicarea cu consumatorul și tipul de informații pe care le oferă acestea despre produsele alimentare. De asemenea, ne propunem se explorăm rolul traducătorului în asigurarea unei comunicări eficiente între producător și consumator, abordând aspecte legate de terminologia specifică industriei alimentare, elemente ce țin de adaptarea culturală, subliniind, în același timp, importanța producerii unor traduceri exacte, din punct de vedere al formei și conținutului, conforme reglementărilor și standardelor în vigoare.Item LIMBAJE SPECIALIZATE: DIFICULTĂȚILE TRADUCERII ACTELOR NOTARIALE ÎN CONTEXTUL LIMBAJULUI JURIDIC CONTEMPORAN(CEP USM, 2024) Vîntu, OleseaÎn prezența diverselor studii referitoare la traducerea actelor notariale, direcțiile teoretice ale particularităților ei în plan istoric, teoretic și practic de utilizare, denotă un larg și neordinar câmp al cercetărilor, deoarece față de el se aplica o abordare de sinteză, fără a se evidenția într-un domeniu aparte și analizându-se ca o traducere în general sau, pur și simplu, ignorându-se. În lucrările teoreticienilor contemporani din domeniu se demonstrează analiza scrupuloasă a traducerilor juridice, a problemelor din această sferă, în ceea ce privește locul limbajului specializat, traducerii actelor notariale și a traductologiei la nivel internațional, iar dezvoltarea rapidă a ştiinţei, intensitatea schimburilor interculturale, necesitatea de acumulare, stocare şi sistematizare a informaţiilor, conceptelor, cunoştinţelor din varii domenii speciale au contribuit la apariţia, consolidarea şi dezvoltarea terminologiei din domeniul limbajului juridic.Item LA TERMINOLOGIE DU DOMAINE DE L’ARCHITECTURE DANS LE ROMAN DE VICTOR HUGO NOTRE-DAME DE PARIS ET DANS SA TRADUCTION EN ROUMAIN(2022) Zbanţ, LudmilaDans le présent article, nous nous sommes proposé l’examen des effets pragmatiques créés dans l’original et leur transfert dans la traduction en roumain du roman de Victor Hugo Notre-Dame de Paris, notamment à travers une couche informative importante exprimée par la terminologie du domaine de l’architecture. La présence des éléments liés à l’architecture de la ville de Paris et plus directement à la cathédrale Notre-Dame est remarquable dans le roman et comporte de nombreuses charges informatives, pragmatiques, c’est-à-dire établissent un lien direct avec le lecteur. Nous considérons que cette construction permet à l’auteur de s’adresser à un public au-delà de l’époque historique évoquée dans le roman, allant directement vers le public de son époque en créant un message qui a le but d’éveiller chez ce public des sentiments patriotiques et pour cela Victor Hugo fait passer l’imaginaire du lecteur de l’espace de la ville de Paris et de la cathédrale Notre-Dame à l’époque du Moyen Âge vers la réalité de son temps et inversement. La structure pluri-textuelle (le texte dans le texte) qui permet l’utilisation dans un texte littéraire des espaces sémiotiques variés et les effets pragmasémantiques existant dans l’original se retrouvent presque parfaitement dans les traductions analysées ce qui est dû probablement à une distance culturelle partant des sources communes et donc facile à dépasser. This article examines the pragmatic effects created in the original and their conveyance in the Romanian translation of the novel Notre-Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo, in particular, via an important informative layer expressed by the architecture terminology. The occurrence of these elements in connection with the city of Paris, and directly with the Notre-Dame Cathedral is fascinating in the novel and includes multiple informative, pragmatic facts that directly relate to the reader. We believe that such a construction allows the author to address a public who is beyond the historical epoch invoked in the novel by directly targeting the public of his epoch through a message created to arouse patriotic feelings in this very public. Therefore, Victor Hugo shifts the reader’s imaginary from the space of the city of Paris and the Notre-Dame Cathedral during the Middle Ages towards the reality of his times and back again. The pluri-textual ensemble (a text inside a text) that allows the employment of different semiotic spaces and pragmatic and semantic effects in the original literary text perfectly fit into the analysed translations, most probably due to a cultural distance ensuing from common sources and subsequently, easy to overcome.Item EVOLUŢIA CERCETĂRILOR ÎN TERMINOLOGIA ONOMASTICĂ(CEP USM, 2023) Corobcean, DoinaOnomastica este un domeniu lingvistic complex şi pragmatic, iar numele proprii care apar constant necesită o clasificare tematică. O analiză a termenilor din domeniul onomasticii este necesară pentru a clarifica statutul acestora în cadrul disciplinei, în concordanță cu alte domenii (sociologie, psihologie, filosofie) sau diferit decât sensul dat de DEX. Nomenclatorul clasic al numelor proprii divizate în antroponime, toponime sau zoonime a devenit insuficient de exact în a reda clasa onimică concretă a numelui propriu, de aici a şi apărut necesitatea de a identifica în limba ro- mână clasele termenilor onomastici uzuali. Astfel, în baza dicționarelor, a glosarelor tematice, realizate de cercetăto- rii români, în diferite perioade, dar și a celor alcătuite la nivel internațional, putem îmbogăți terminologia onomastică cu termeni noi, aplicabili sistemului limbii române.Item TRANSLATING MEDIATION TERMINOLOGY IN CRIMINAL LAW FROM ENGLISH INTO ROMANIAN(Print-Caro, 2023-03-15) Cazacu, ParascoviaAs mediation gains more acceptance and recognition, it is essential to have precise translations of mediation terms and concepts to ensure the success of the mediation process. Translating mediation terminology in criminal law from English into Romanian requires a deep understanding of both legal systems and proficiency in both languages. Mediation terminology is often specific and technical, and it is important to find the right equivalent term in the target language to avoid ambiguity or confusion. In the context of criminal law, the translation of mediation terminology is particularly challenging as it involves concepts related to crime, punishment, and justice. The translator must be familiar with the legal frameworks of both countries and be able to accurately convey the meaning and nuances of legal terms. Additionally, the translator should be aware of any cultural or social differences between the two languages that may impact the interpretation of the terminology.Item LA NÉONYMIE SANS FRONTIÈRES DANS LA TERMINOLOGIE DE LA COVID-19: CRÉATIVITÉ ET FONCTIONNEMENT(CEP USM, 2023) Zbanț, Ludmila; David, AlaDans les conditions de la pandémie sanitaire qu’a traversé l’humanité durant ces dernières années, nous pouvons remarquer l’émergence de nouvelles tendances ayant le but de refléter dans les langues du monde les concepts issus de l’évolution globale des phénomènes pandémiques, matérialisés dans une terminologie à prédominance néologique ou néonymique qui implique la créativité linguistique, tout en respectant les apports et les résultats des travaux terminologiques antérieurs. Ce constat explique l’intérêt porté aux directions de recherches terminologiques moins abordées jusqu’à présent, notamment celles liées aux tendances d’internationalisation de la terminologie, en particu- lier dans le domaine de la santé publique, afin d’assurer une communication efficace dans l’un des champs sociaux à vocation particulièrement importante dans les conditions d’une pandémie.Item EVOLUTION OF CUISINE TERMINOLOGY ACROSS CULTURES(CEP USM, 2023) Cazacu, Parascovia; Saganean, GabrielaCuisine terminology is an essential part of a cultural identity. The evolution of cuisine terminology refers to the changes that have occurred in the language used to describe food, cooking techniques, ingredients, and culinary traditions over time. It has been shaped by various factors, including globalization, migration, technology, and changing cultural attitudes toward food. Globalization has been a critical factor in the evolution of cuisine terminology, as it has brought people from different cultures together, leading to the introduction of new terms and vocabulary. By moving from one country to another, people have brought their food traditions and adapted them to the new surroundings. Similarly, technology has had a decisive influence on food distribution, leading to the introduction of new terms describing different types of food outlets. New definitions and terminology have been developed to describe the various kinds of food and eating habits, thanks to increasing health awareness and recognition of the environmental impact of food production. As these attitudes continue to evolve, cuisine terminology will likely continue to change and adapt to these changes. The evolution of cuisine terminology reflects the dynamic nature of our world and the diversity of our food traditions and practices. Moreover, it has given rise to a better understanding and appreciation of diverse cuisines, encouraging innovation and sustainability in the food industry as well as preserving culinary traditions and cultural heritage.Item ASPECTE CULTURALE ALE TRADUCERII TERMINOLOGIEI GASTRONOMICE IRLANDEZE ÎN ROMANUL „ULISE” DE JAMES JOYCE ÎN LIMBA ROMÂNĂ(CEP USM, 2023) Filimon, VeaceslavStudiul prezintă o clasificare stilistică și traductologică a terminologiei gastronomice în traducerea românească a romanului ”Ulise” de James Joyce din perspectiva culturologică. Sunt analizate cele mai importante aspecte naratologice în capitolul ”Lestrigonii”, în care autorul elaborează un nou ”gastro-limbaj” pentru a descrie realitățile irlandeze din perspectiva artei culinare, dar și cu o încercare de a scrie o istorie a bucătăriei irlandeze prin prisma culturii celtice, ebraice și greco-romane prin suprapunerea și fuzionarea sincretică a acestora în textul romanului. Studiul oferă și o retrospectivă a procedeelor și de traducere a unei diversități de termini gastronomici și posibilitatea echivalenței în traducerea românească.Item CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY TERMINOLOGY FROM A TRANSLATION PERSPECTIVE(CEP USM, 2022-04-14) Corcodel, Svetlana; Şaganean, GabrielaThe purpose of this work is to investigate the field of clinical psychology, which has been an important and long-standing field throughout the evolution of human knowledge, and yet still contains many mysteries and questions that remain to be answered in the future. The study provides general characteristics alongside specific peculiarities; it also comprises a linguistic and terminological analysis of the field from a translation perspective that is bound to improve not only the professional knowledge and abilities, but also bring forth valuable information about human interaction, and offer solutions to day to day problems. In order to render this type of specialized language texts, translators must attempt to identify the translation difficulties that clinical psychology terminology could pose, go beyond correspondences at the level of individual terms and be able to establish interlinguistic references to entire knowledge structures, and more important, the problems the translators of the source text face and the way they overcome them. As a result of the carried out research it allows us to realize that clinical psychology terminology is particularly dynamic and it requires responsibility from both: the psychologist and the translator, ability to concentrate as well as thoroughness and accuracy that can be used in the process of the source text translation into the target text.Item ASPECTE DE RAPORT ÎNTRE DIMENSIUNEA PRAGMATICĂ ȘI COGNITIVĂ ÎN TERMINOLOGIE(CEP USM, 2022-04-14) Nichita, CristinaPragmatica lingvistică și lingvistica cognitivă se completează reciproc și derivă una din alta. Nivelul științific al limbajului, precum și latura lui artistică este un fapt confirmat ad hoc și presupune încrederea în intuițiile cercetătorilor, savanților, precum și încrederea în uzul limbii și a limbajului. Terminologia are un aspect motivat și normativ care provine de la regulile de formare a termenilor și logica comună în uzul și receptarea lor ca parte a unui limbaj specializat. Astfel, ne propunem să parcurgem o incursiune teoretică referitor la raportul pragmatic și cognitiv în terminologie, incluzând aspectele reprezentative la acest subiect studiate până acum.
