    COMPETENȚA DE COMUNICARE ÎN LIMBA ROMÂNĂ LA STUDENȚII ALOLINGVI CU PROFIL ECONOMIC

    În procesul de predare-învățare-evaluare a unei limbi, formarea competenței de comunicare a fost și rămâne un obiectiv prioritar, mai bine zis, esențial, ce trebuie realizat eficient și adecvat, în corespundere cu principiile teoretico-aplicative, stabilite de notorietăți în domeniul științelor educației. Pornind de la unele reflecții raportate la conceptul de competență, în general, și la cel de comunicare, în special, în acest articol vorbim de unele strategii palpabile, ce contribuie la formarea abilitățlor de comunicare orală și scrisă la studenții alolingvi, relevăm în ce constă aspectul funcțional-comunicativ al însușirii conștiente și aprofundate a gramaticii limbii române de către studenții alolingvi, subliniem rolul fundamental, ce-l are buna cunoaștere a vocabularului uzual și a celui terminologic, pentru a poseda competența de comunicare în limba română.

    METHODS OF IMPROVING COMMUNICATION SKILLS DURING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASS

    Communication is one of the most basic skills required for mastering a foreign language. As such, a big goal for any teacher is to motivate their students to develop their skills further. For that reason, this article sets out to define and analyse communication as a term and skill required for speaking in a foreign language. Additionally, the discussions delve into the components of communication, the importance of engaging students in meaningful interactions, and the necessity of developing fluency and efficiency in speaking a foreign language. Various teaching methods and activities, such as the 4/3/2 Technique and the use of multimedia resources, are highlighted here as effective tools for enhancing linguistic and intercultural competencies. Special attention is similarly accorded to defining and motivating the development of language fluency in students. This work also aims to encourage teachers to implement more activities that stimulate students to practice their communication skills.

    The development of students’ oral competence is one of the most important leitmotifs in modern language teaching. Motivation is at the heart of language learning and has a major impact on success in developing students’ speaking skills. Students who are motivated strive to achieve a goal and can be successful in learning a language. In the field of language learning and the development of oral skills, fear is a disruptive factor and can negatively affect the learning process. Overcoming the fear of speaking and creating a fearless learning atmosphere, the development of communicative learning methods is an important objective of foreign language methodology and didactics today.

    The success of teaching a foreign language depends on the hard work of both the teachers and the learners as well as on the ability to overcome the linguistic barriers. This article discusses many of the problems that the learners of English as a foreign language face and the difficulty of overcoming linguistic barriers. Special language drill and carefully devised methods are necessary to be handled by teachers in order to impel students to improve their communicative skills. This may appear to be a daunting challenge for many students, but the training and a well-balanced inner consciousness will ensure their fluency and accuracy while speaking a foreign language, their ability to cope with different kinds of barriers.

    MOTIVATION REFLECTED IN ROMANIAN AND ENGLISH ANTONYMIC PHRASEOLOGIES FOR “SUCCESS” AND “UNSUCCESS”

    This article is devoted to the analysis of motivation as a cognitive process that leads to the creation of phraseological units in the English and Romanian linguistic pictures, focusing on the antonymic relationship between the concepts of “success” and “unsuccess”. Motivation is also analysed as the ability of the individual to understand idiomatic expressions. The aim of the article is to find both common and particular parametric components of English and Romanian antonymic phraseologies and investigate the relationship between the phraseological units that build them up. The methods used for this research are those of general linguistics, but also those specific to cognitive linguistics.

To be motivated to build a career in education means to have the desire for changes and for progress. Education is an international priority and each society must have the interest to promote knowledge. Today, to be a teacher is a real challenge, because it means to change a pupil's live and to be involved in a social responsibility. Building a teaching career is a complicated way of achieving society’s balance and harmony. Teaching career involves a strong intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and also a real force of altruism.
