The notion of play can be succinctly characterized, according to E. Geissler’s expression, as “spontaneous spontaneity”, as an action that generates fun and comfort. The game can become a real educational and didactic tool, a basis of training and education methods. From the point of view of teaching the subject Romanian language and literature, especially vocabulary notions, expression, role-playing, interaction and language games are of interest. The didactic game is one of the most effective teaching methods, all the more so because it has obvious advantages, despite the fact that, at least in appearance, pleasure and relaxation prevail in it. The didactic game can be used in all stages of the educational process, in order to sensitize students to the activity, for the purpose of teaching, learning, consolidating, recapitulating or even evaluating knowledge. The nature of the scientific content, the age characteristics of the class, the material and time resources are some of the conditions depending on which one opts for a certain type of game.

MONITORIZAREA CURRICULUMULUI ȘCOLAR LA DISCIPLINA LIMBA STRĂINĂ: CONCEPT, PARTICULARITĂȚI ȘI EXPERIENȚE
    (Editura USM, 2024) Guțu, Ion
The national education system, since 1996, has as its basis its educational policies, along with the Education Code, an entire curricular system that regulates all the compartments intended for the pupils (conceptual framework, content components, teaching-learning-evaluation methodologies, guides implementation of curricula, etc.). Since the Curriculum is not a dogma, but a document in perpetual revision and modernization, it is necessary that the Curriculum in foreign languages of the latest generation (2018/2019) knows the continuous monitoring and development of all its compartments (concept, particularities, experiences) and at all cycles (primary and secondary) with the recommendation of a Methodological Framework to the ministry in order to prepare the next curricular generation. What are the challenges, what theories and methodologies can ensure the cyclical and continuous process of this curricular monitoring and development?

INDIVIDUALIZATION AND DIFFERENTIATION IN THE ORGANIZATION OF THE TEACHING-LEARNING ACTIVITIES
    (Editura USM, 2023) Pascaru, Daniela
Empiric researches have been carried out to prove the advantages of a differentiated and individualized education compared to the traditional education, which, in most of the cases, still remains a collective or frontal type of education. It is obvious that in the last decades important efforts have been made to orientate the teaching-learning activities towards differentiation and individualization. Approaches have been made for training the teachers who would possess the necessary skills for the good organization of the differentiated and individualized teaching, and great efforts have also been made for the learning institutions’ modernization and endowment, so that they would meet the demands required by the differentiated and individualized teaching. Despite all these advantages and positive followings attached to the differentiated and individualized teaching, we should not bet on a single card and consider that the efficiency of the whole instructive-educative process can be obtained only by the obsessive promotion of the debated modalities.
