Item IMPACT OF COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE TESTING IN ENHANCING STUDENTS’ CAPACITY(Editura USM, 2024) Bashirov, OxanaThe great economic, technological and political changes in the world made learners’ need for mastering foreign languages even more acute than before. The present study focuses on the use of communicative assessments to evaluate language learners’ capacity to use the target language in real-world contexts. This article highlights the fact that communicative tests aim to assess the learner’s communicative skills and their ability to use the language in order to cope with actual communicative situations. The communicative language testing approach infers that a student is considered successful in learning the target language if he/she can communicate or use knowledge and skills by way of authentic listening, speaking, reading and writing.Item DIE AUSWIRKUNG DER MOTIVATIONS- BZW. SPRECHHEMMUNGFAKTOREN AUF DIE MÜNDLICHE KOMPETENZ DER STUDIERENDEN(Editura USM, 2024) Corcevshi, SvetlanaThe development of students’ oral competence is one of the most important leitmotifs in modern language teaching. Motivation is at the heart of language learning and has a major impact on success in developing students’ speaking skills. Students who are motivated strive to achieve a goal and can be successful in learning a language. In the field of language learning and the development of oral skills, fear is a disruptive factor and can negatively affect the learning process. Overcoming the fear of speaking and creating a fearless learning atmosphere, the development of communicative learning methods is an important objective of foreign language methodology and didactics today.Item ÎMBUNĂTĂŢIREA EDUCAŢIEI LINGVISTICE PRIN ÎNVĂŢAREA LIMBII STRĂINE - COMPETENȚĂ / COMPETENȚĂ DE COMUNICARE – SENSURI ATRIBUITE(CEP USM, 2017-03-18) Tulei, AngelaThe present study is an attempt to define the terms “competence” and “communicative competence”. A foreign language is an effective tool to enter a new level of culture, a tool of spiritual and intellectual maturity. Higher education represents an important means to accede to international sources of information and documentation in the professional field, promoting individual, professional and general human values. The study of a foreign language is not any more an objective of general culture; it is increasingly becoming a professional training objective. The need to develop students' communicative competence increases with the ideas found in pedagogical researches which show that the human personality can be professionally formed only in the process of communication. It is almost impossible to develop students’ professional communicative competence outside the foreign languages classes. The author explores a less trodden path for improving linguistic education by teaching students a foreign language: explaining the meanings given to the terms competence and communicative competence, which give theoretical solutions for achieving the formulated goal.Item TIPOLOGIA BARIERELOR LINGVISTICE ÎN PREDAREA-ÎNVĂŢAREA LIMBII ENGLEZE(CEP USM, 2016-03-12) Nița, MarianaThe success of teaching a foreign language depends on the hard work of both the teachers and the learners as well as on the ability to overcome the linguistic barriers. This article discusses many of the problems that the learners of English as a foreign language face and the difficulty of overcoming linguistic barriers. Special language drill and carefully devised methods are necessary to be handled by teachers in order to impel students to improve their communicative skills. This may appear to be a daunting challenge for many students, but the training and a well-balanced inner consciousness will ensure their fluency and accuracy while speaking a foreign language, their ability to cope with different kinds of barriers.Item DIE FÖRDERUNG DER MÜNDLICHEN KOMMUNIKATION IM DEUTSCHUNTERRICHT DURCH DIALOG(CEP USM, 2023) Cutcovschi, LudmilaThe foreign language learning is a process that requires a lot of effort and motivation. This article targets the importance of developing the dialogue-based communication within the German language lessons. The attempt to find an ideal learning method might be far-fetched, as learning styles differ from student to student. Education and training takes place mostly through dialogue. Thanks to the interchanges in the classrooms, learner autonomy and intellectual activity can be fostered, learning styles that promote independence can be trained, the ability to engage in dialogue is encouraged, and democratic forms of communication are developed. The lesson is about communication, which means that it must create enough free space for proper opportunities to speak. The strong promotion of communication skills and willingness of pupils/students is definitely worth it.
