    METODOLOGIA ȘI INSTRUMENTARUL MONITORIZĂRII CURRICULA LA LIMBA STRĂINĂ: ETAPIZĂRI ȘI STRATEGII

    Politicile curriculare naționale sunt clar definite și coerent structurate, mereu evaluate și monitorizate. Actualizarea acestor politici echivalează cu ajustarea lor la contextul social, politic, economic, cultural și educațional la nivel național și internațional. În acest scop, Curricula la Limba străină 1, ca și Curricula la Limba și Literatura română, ediția 2018-2019, necesită monitorizare privind dezvoltarea continuă și ciclică nu doar a curriculumului scris, ci și a curriculumului predat-învățat- evaluat. Obiectivul major prevede acumularea de informații suficiente de la toate treptele școlare (primară, gimnazială, liceală), din diferite instituții școlare ale republicii (gimnazii, licee din capitală și regiuni), de la diferite limbi (franceza, engleza), pentru a re/formula concepții, propune sugestii și recomandări privind ameliorarea valorii și calității acestor curricula. Elaborarea unei metodologii și a unui instrumentar de monitorizare a Curriculumului la Limba străină 1 este o condiție sine qua non care presupune atât etapizări, cât și strategii adecvate unui proces de evaluare coerentă, consecventă și efectivă.

    CHALLENGES IN TRANSLATING LEGAL TERMINOLOGY

    This research work is a proof of an attempt to find peculiar aspects of legal terminology as a part of the language vocabulary. It helped us understand better the process of terms evolution and their development within the framework of one specialized language. It is a kind of analysis and foreseeing of the legal terms creation, assimilation and their implementation into the actual specialized vocabulary. This research is a good source of information for terminologists helping them to choose what term should be used, what information and meaning it designates and when it should be used. This field needs a permanent study, because this specialized field is always in evolution that depends on the country development and progress.

    AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE STRATEGIES OF TRANSLATION OF CHILDREN’S LITERATURE

    This work focuses on a very interesting, yet challenging area for translators – the children’s literature (ChL). Its major goal is to review the specialised literature in the field, to understand the peculiarities of such texts examine the difficulties of the process and make an inventory of the translation tools available to translators when dealing with such texts. Being aware of how vast this area is, we addressed only some aspects regarding ChL in general and translation of ChL in particular. This literature review highlights that a successful translation of children’s literature is not limited to the strategies, techniques, and procedures that might be employed, but also depends on the ability of a translator to preserve the balance between the source and target texts and to understand the readers’ expectations, in particular, when children represent the readers. Since this work is supported by a myriad of references to relevant sources published by linguists and translators, it could also serve in its turn as a useful reference point for further research avenues in linguistics, literature, translation and statistics
