More recently, education has been given the name of pedagogy, as the theory of education, the scientific part without which education cannot develop harmoniously. Many have the opinion that education cannot be a science because it has been ingrained in the human psyche since the very beginning, so that all it takes is an impulse to start that grain of education that each of us possesses. Through this research we will make certain incursions to describe the dual nature of pedagogy.Item THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION COMPETENCE IN ENGLIH TO STUDENTS FROM THE FACULTY OF BIOLOGY AND GEOSCIENCES(Editura USM, 2024) Tulei, AngelaThe present article is dedicated to the need of teaching ESP, English being considered the Lingua Franca of our age, which means that it is the dominant language of this era. Being able to communicate scientifically is an important skill for students graduating with a science degree. Skills used in future careers for science majors include oral and written communication, as well as science literacy and being able to create figures to display information. In the article below, we present an active curriculum that can be easily incorporated into any content-focused undergraduate Biology course in English. The curriculum is designed around scientific literature that engages students in a multitude of active learning activities to develop different types of scientific communication skills.Item TIPS ON HOW TO TEACH TRAGEDY “ROMEO AND JULIET” BY W.SHAKESPEARE(Editura USM, 2023) Tulei, AngelaAbordarea comunicativă este pe larg folosită în învățarea unei limbi străine. Mai jos vom prezenta un proiect de lecție pentru predarea unei tragedii la orele de limbă engleză, și anume a tragediei “Romeo și Julieta” de W.Shakespeare. “Romeo și Julieta” este o tragedie scrisă de William Shakespeare despre soarta a doi îndrăgostiți care luptă împotriva prejudecăților sociale, a urii între familii, a ambiției vanitoase și a destinului. Tragedia celor doi adolescenți, fatal îndrăgostiți unul de altul este probabil cea mai cunoscută piesă a Bardului, unul dintre succesele sale timpurii, fiind considerată cea mai tipică poveste de dragoste a Renașterii. Proiectul dat are o valoare practică și poate fi utilizat pe larg la ore cu studenții cu nivelul de cunoastere a limbii B1-B2.Item PERSPECTIVA PEDAGOGICĂ A DEFINIRII VALORILOR(Pontos, 2019) Tulei, AngelaIstoria omului începe odată cu istoria semnelor și a valorilor. Animalele, spre deosebire de om, fiind necuvântătoare, nu pot să-și transforme atracțiile și repulsiile în valori. Numai dialogul, mai întâi cu ceilalți și mai târziu cu sine însuși, permite distanțarea de fenomene și ivirea întrebărilor despre esența lor. Numai dialogul face posibilă elaborarea ideilor, singurul mijloc dialogal de comunicare fiind limbajul uman. Chestiunea valorilor a fost definită din diverse perspective și dimensiuni, cum ar fi: perspectiva istorică, dimensiunea filosofică, perspectiva economică, estetică, psihologică, etc. În prezentul articol ne vom axa pe perspectiva pedagogică de definire a valorilor.Item DEFINIREA CONCEPTULUI DE COMPETENȚĂ DE COMUNICARE PROFESIONALĂ(CEP USM, 2018-10-26) Tulei, AngelaThe present study is an attempt to define the term competence from different perspectives. It is undoubtedly attributed three components: knowledge, skills and attitudes; the attitudes are attributed the leading role of directing, bringing arguments and achieving a result; knowledge and abilities complete the competence.The need to develop students’ communicative competence increases with the ideas found in pedagogical researches, which state that the human personality can be professionally formed only in the process of communication. The communication competence includes people’s abilities of communication acquired during their lives and supposes abilities to communicate, transmit, exchange opinions in different circumstances in the process of interaction with other people, applying the system of language and speech standards. The competence to communicate in a language specific to the speciality involves the competence of professional communication and includes, in addition to the components of communication, knowledge competence in the field.Item ÎMBUNĂTĂŢIREA EDUCAŢIEI LINGVISTICE PRIN ÎNVĂŢAREA LIMBII STRĂINE - COMPETENȚĂ / COMPETENȚĂ DE COMUNICARE – SENSURI ATRIBUITE(CEP USM, 2017-03-18) Tulei, AngelaThe present study is an attempt to define the terms “competence” and “communicative competence”. A foreign language is an effective tool to enter a new level of culture, a tool of spiritual and intellectual maturity. Higher education represents an important means to accede to international sources of information and documentation in the professional field, promoting individual, professional and general human values. The study of a foreign language is not any more an objective of general culture; it is increasingly becoming a professional training objective. The need to develop students' communicative competence increases with the ideas found in pedagogical researches which show that the human personality can be professionally formed only in the process of communication. It is almost impossible to develop students’ professional communicative competence outside the foreign languages classes. The author explores a less trodden path for improving linguistic education by teaching students a foreign language: explaining the meanings given to the terms competence and communicative competence, which give theoretical solutions for achieving the formulated goal.Item UNITATEA NAŢIONAL-UNIVERSALĂ A VALORILOR – PRINCIPIU FUNDAMENTAL AL CULTURII ŞI EDUCAŢIEI(CEP USM, 2016-03-12) Tulei, AngelaThe subject of the present article is national-universal unity of values as culture and education fundamental principle. There are given/existing values such as nature, universe, divinity; and values created by man which are culture components. Being a unity of three spheres - biological, intellectual and spiritual, man is born as a biological being, he grows up and intellectual and spiritual values are cultivated to him during his lifetime. There are no purely national values, similar values can be identified to other cultures / nations. Generally speaking, there is nothing in the world as a single value; any value has its own way of being, but it can only exist in relation to other values. Culture can only exist in the national-universal unity. Education can not be separated from culture; it is produced in the culture and through the culture.Item TIPS ON HOW TO TEACH POETRY “IF” BY JOSEPH RUDYARD KIPLING(CEP USM, 2022-05-13) Tulei, AngelaAbordarea comunicativă este pe larg folosită în învățarea unei limbi străine. Mai jos vom prezenta un proiect de lecție pentru predarea unei poezii la orele de limbă engleză, și anume a poeziei “IF” de Rudyard Kipling. Poezia este o formă de artă în care limba este utilizată pentru calitățile sale estetice și evocative, pentru a completa sau a înlocui semnificația sa aparentă. Poezia poate fi scrisă independent, în forma unor poeme discrete, sau poate apărea în conjuncție cu alte arte, în opere dramatice în versuri, imnuri sau texte ale unor cântece. Proiectul dat are o valoare practică și poate fi utilizat pe larg la ore cu studenții cu nivelul de cunoastere a limbii B1-B2.
