Item LA NÉONYMIE SANS FRONTIÈRES DANS LA TERMINOLOGIE DE LA COVID-19: CRÉATIVITÉ ET FONCTIONNEMENT(CEP USM, 2023) Zbanț, Ludmila; David, AlaDans les conditions de la pandémie sanitaire qu’a traversé l’humanité durant ces dernières années, nous pouvons remarquer l’émergence de nouvelles tendances ayant le but de refléter dans les langues du monde les concepts issus de l’évolution globale des phénomènes pandémiques, matérialisés dans une terminologie à prédominance néologique ou néonymique qui implique la créativité linguistique, tout en respectant les apports et les résultats des travaux terminologiques antérieurs. Ce constat explique l’intérêt porté aux directions de recherches terminologiques moins abordées jusqu’à présent, notamment celles liées aux tendances d’internationalisation de la terminologie, en particu- lier dans le domaine de la santé publique, afin d’assurer une communication efficace dans l’un des champs sociaux à vocation particulièrement importante dans les conditions d’une pandémie.Item ORGANIZAREA INFORMAȚIONALĂ A DISCURSUL ACADEMIC ÎN PERIOADA PANDEMIEI COVID-19(2022) Eni, MihaelaOrganizarea informațională a discursului academic generează interes din punct de vedere lingvistic, dar, totodată, acest segment nu este pe deplin cercetat. Dimensiunea pragmatică a discursului academic a fost reliefată în perioada pandemiei COVID-19, când s-a accentuat rolul științei în societate și necesitatea prezentării cunoștințelor, cercetărilor efectuate de specialiști din diverse domenii. Discursul academic ca produs poate utiliza diferite limbaje științifice specializate, în funcție de sfera de activitate. Limbajul științific utilizat de mediul academic în expunerea cunoștințelor și informațiilor dobândite are trăsături specifice, analizate în acest articol. De asemenea, modul de organizarea a evenimentelor științifice și structura discursurilor rostite în cadrul acestor evenimente, deocamdată nu a fost supusă atenției cercetătorilor din domeniu. Communication is a complex process, approached by specialists from various perspectives, because it is an existential process. Depending on the field of research, communication is studied on various dimensions. Scientific communication is of particular interest due to the accelerated development of science which later leads to the development of society. At national and international level, researchers meet to discuss the subject of scientific communication in the context of Open Access to Scientific Information. The way of organizing scientific events, their role, but also the characteristics of scientific communication in the online environment lately is a current research topic.Item COVID-19 AND INTERPRETATION: MAJOR CHALLENGES AND TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS(CEP USM, 2023) Bodean-Vozian, OleseaThis study aims to explore the state of remote interpretation during the COVID-19 pandemic (with a focus on the pre-pandemic situation as well), including the lockdown, and to survey the best options that could benefit the translators now and, in the future, along with the development of technology. This evaluation of the past and present practices in terms of distance interpretation will provide us with more precise information regarding the prospect of online interpretation with the use of various platforms, including interpreters’ resilience building. Our study emphasizes the case of the Republic of Moldova and will cover the period between 2020 and 2022.
