This paper explores the impact of motivation on second language acquisition and highlights strategies to cultivate an environment that empowers learners to succeed.Item POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUILDING UP AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION ENVIRONMENT(CEP USM, 2022-05-13) Nița, MarianaDezvoltarea competenței de comunicare într-o limbă străină precum limba engleză reprezintă o provocare pentru unii studenți, în timp ce pentru un alt grup, aceasta reprezintă o simplă activitate care îi motivează să se dezvolte atât pe plan personal, cât și pe plan profesional. Cadrul didactic poate motiva studentul să descopere abilitățile cognitive pe care acesta le deține cu ajutorul unor modalități noi de activare a structurilor anatomice a creierului pe care le deține acesta în vederea achiziționării unei limbi străine. Pentru a dobândi o performanță lingvistică în spațiul educațional, neuroeducația vine în ajutorul profesorului cu o serie de teorii ce merită a fi analizate pentru a ajuta studentul să depășească barierele ce pot prejudicia calitatea procesului de învățare a limbii engleze. Aplicarea unor practici despre funcționarea minții umane în învățarea limbilor străine poate crește nivelul de implicare a studentului, gestionarea activităților și proceselor de învățare.Item PRINCIPII IMPORTANTE ÎN PREDAREA LIMBII ENGLEZE CA A DOUA LIMBĂ (LIMBĂ SECUNDARĂ)(Print-Caro, 2021) Nița, MarianaTeaching English will always challenge us to look for the most suitable approaches, theories, and methods that can help students to acquire fluent, natural, and authentic English. Teachers’ role is to adjust their knowledge to learners’ needs, interests and motivation. Today, pedagogical approaches differ widely because of a rich variety of teaching methods we are used to. Nowadays, there are different ways to teach English depending on our goals, our past experiences to learn and teach it and our social interaction. Our forthcoming research focuses on some beliefs and direct observations on learners who succeeded in acquiring great communicative skills that helped them in their professional lives by implementing some important principles and by analyzing the development of teaching methods from the past until today’s post-methods era/or Covid-19 techniques, strategies that are transformed and adjusted to learners ‘needs and interests.
