    In the contemporary context, elocution faces new challenges due to the tendency toward simplification and immediacy in communication. In a world where language has become more direct and concise, it is easy to assume that elocution has lost its relevance. However, it remains a fundamental tool for achieving effective and expressive communication, capable of informing, persuading, and evoking emotions. From a stylistic perspective, it is essential to analyze how speakers structure their discourse to achieve clarity, impact, and beauty, whether in everyday conversation, public speeches, or academic writing. In the literary field, elocution plays a crucial role in the construction of texts with aesthetic and symbolic value. The relationship between style and literature helps us understand how language use goes beyond mere functionality to become an artistic and cultural expression. It is not just about conveying ideas but doing so with nuance, rhythm, and depth, creating a richer communicative experience. The didactic aspect of elocution is especially important today, as digital communication has transformed expressive norms. In a context where words are shortened and messages seek immediacy, teaching elocution requires strategies that make it appealing and useful for new generations. It is possible to combine traditional techniques with modern tools to foster more effective oral and written expression without losing the richness of language. Elocution is not just an art of the past but an essential skill for both the present and the future. Restoring its value in education and everyday life can transform the way we communicate and understand the world.

    The process of teaching-learning a foreign language is not only based on the acquisition and foundation of intellectual values and practical skills, but is also closely connected with the need to discover the beauty, harmony, and aesthetic aspects of the world that surrounds us. Aesthetic education, reading and analysis of the literary text are concepts that assume an indissoluble link and whose efficiency in the era of technical-scientific progress depends, to a considerable extent, on the strategies that the teacher applies to the foreign language lesson.

    STIL, LIMBAJ ȘI PERSPECTIVĂ NARATIVĂ ÎN PROZA LUI ROBERTO BOLAÑO

    Roberto Bolaño (1953-2003) reprezintă, indiscutabil, una din somitățile literaturii latino-americane din a doua jumătate a secolului XX – începutul secolului XXI. În prezentul articol, ne-am propus să punctăm câteva aspecte esențiale în viața și opera acestui distins scriitor și poet chilian, a cărui creație literară, profundă și polifațetică, nu încetează să impresioneze publicul cititor pasionat de o literatură de calitate. Drept repere pentru explorarea acestora ne vor servi stilul, limbajul și perspectiva narativă din proza bolañiană, care se caracterizează prin originalitatea abordării unor subiecte cotidiene, diversitatea fondului lexical, neutralitatea sau, dimpotrivă, figurativitatea limbajului, în care își găsește oglindire individualitatea inconfundabilă a prozatorului și poetului Roberto Bolaño.
