Aprecierea materialului inițial de ameliorare de salvie la indicii cantitativi ai uleiului esenţial
(CEP USM, 2024) Cotelea, Ludmila; Balmuş, Zinaida; Butnaraş, Violeta
As a result of the evaluation of the initial breeding material for the quantitative indices of the essential oil, it was demonstrated that 72.5% of the number of evaluated hybrids synthesized, accumulated more than 1.0% essential oil recalculated to the dry matter; 21.6% of these hybrids demonstrated high essential oil content – 1.4-2.7% (dry matter). Exceptional were 2 simple hybrids, (Cr.p. 99 S13 x AP 52-11 S3)F2 and (AP 49-11 S3 x NC 61-11 S3)F2 with 2.611 and 2.703%. The initial improvement material, with a high content of essential oil, will be used in the development of new varieties of hybrid origin.

Evaluarea și selectarea liniilor consangvinizate de perspectivă la specia Salvia sclarea l.
(CEP USM, 2024) Balmuş, Zinaida; Cotelea, Ludmila; Butnaraş, Violeta
The importance of aromatic and medicinal plants is determined by the multiple uses of the essential oil in medicine, perfumery, cosmetics, aromatherapy, food etc. For this reason, research was focused on the diversification of the initial breeding material, the improvement of the assortment of hybrids and cultivars. Genetics and breeding, as well as creation of new cultivars and hybrids is a continuous process. Each newly approved, patented cultivar is more efficient than the previous ones. In the essential oil separated from the inflorescences of the inbred line AP 97-11 S6, according to the results obtained, identified 11 components, harvesting as major compounds linalyl acetate, 74,751% and linalool, 16.893%.

HIBRIZI F1 DE SALVIA SCLAREA L., SIMPLI, TRIPLI ȘI DUBLI, CU CONȚINUT ÎNALT DE ULEI ESENȚIAL
(CEP USM, 2024) Cotelea, Ludmila; Balmuş, Zinaida; Butnaraş, Violeta
25 single, triple, double - step F1 complex hybrids of Salvia sclarea L. were studied. Hybrid genotypes have valuable quantitative characteristics, many of them forming long(50 – 62 cm), compact inflorescences, with a large number of first – order (12 – 15) and second – (15 – 26) branches, vertices and flower, which also results in high inflorescence yields. 13 exceptional hybrids of the most important characteres were selected, identified; they synthesize and accumulate 1,346 – 2,286 % (dry matter) essential oil.

EVALUAREA SOIURILOR DE PLANTE MEDICINALE ȘI AROMATICE REZILIENTE LA FACTORII STRESOGENI AI MEDIULUI, BOLI ȘI DĂUNĂTORI
(CEP USM, 2023) Balmuș, Zinaida; Cotelea, Ludmila; Butnaraș, Violeta; Goncearuc, Maria; Botnarenco, P.
The varieties of Salvia sclarea provides a production of 15.4– 19.5t/ha of inflorescences and guarantees the yield of 54.5–73.5 kg/ha of essential oil. The essential oil content of Lavandula angustifolia varieties in the dry years is higher than in the years with normal atmospheric depositions. The productivity of the lavender varieties is higher (7,4 -7,7 t/ha) of inflorescences and 155,2- 179,2 kg/ha of essential oil. We can conclude that the varieties are part of different groups of maturity, high production of raw material, high content of essential oil. They are resistant to frost, winter and drought.
