Item Effect of drought on the total protein composition in sunflower seedlings [Articol](Editura USM, 2025) Rudacova, Angela; Cherdivara, Ala; Rudacov, SergheiThe aim of the work was to study the protein composition of seedlings of several sunflower genotypes under the influence of simulated drought. The protein composition was studied using SDS electrophoresis. The drought effect was created using PEG (6000). Drought-induced changes in protein composition were detected in only two of the six studied genotypes. In the Rf 2 genotype, under the influence of PEG (30%), 2 zones with low molecular weights accumulated over 6 days. In the ASC3 genotype, 3 zones of proteins with low molecular weights began to appear already at the first stage of drought, and they accumulated as the drought intensified. The amount of these zones increased under severe drought by almost 5-10 times compared to the control. The molecular weights of the proteins that accumulate during drought (D1, D2 and D3) range from 22 to 20 kDa, which is consistent with the molecular weights of dehydrins, which found in Helianthus annuus. The enhanced accumulation of these proteins under drought conditions may suggest that the ASC3 genotype exhibited greater drought tolerance and could be a promising parental line for breeding purposes. Item STUDII ALE VARIABILITĂȚII ȘI HERITABILITĂȚII CARACTERELOR DE PRODUCTIVITATE ȘI CALITATE LA GRÂUL COMUN(CEP USM, 2024) Lupaşcu, Galina; Gavzer, Svetlana; Cristea, Nicolae; Rudacova, Angela; Cherdivară, AlaThe article presents the results of the genetic-environmental control study of the productivity elements of the common autumn wheat spike (7 genotypes during the years 2020-2022). The objects of the work: i) recording the elements of productivity; ii) establishing the weight (%) of the year, genotype, year x genotype interaction factors of in the source of variability character; iii) calculation of genetic parameters of variability and heritability, heritability coefficient; iv) determination of the biochemical quality of wheat grains. Research methods: biometric, biochemical, mathematical, statistical. Results obtained - the particularities were established: i) variability, heritability, the factorial weight of the conditions of the year and the wheat genotype in the source of variation of the productivity elements of the spike; ii) heritability and genetic advance; iii) the content of proteins, wet gluten, dry gluten, carbohydrates in grains during the years of study.Item PARTICULARITĂȚILE RĂSPUNSULUI GENOTIPURILOR DE TOMATE SUB ACȚIUNEA INFECȚIILOR VIRALE ȘI A DESCENDENȚILOR ACESTORA LA STRESUL ABIOTIC(CEP USM, 2023) Mării, Liliana; Andronic, Larisa; Smerea, Svetlana; Rudacova, Angela; Cherdivară, Ala; Rudacov, S.; Sahanovschih, MarionelaThe evaluation of some polyvalent biochemical indicators under optimal conditions and heat or drought highlighted specific aspects if these plants came from parents infected with Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) or Tomato Aspermy Virus (TAV). Thus, depending on the genotype, in both infected plants and their descendants, the POX values were usually higher or lower than the control group. The origin of the plants (control, TMV, TAV) had the largest contribution in the variability of H2O2 and stress for POX, respectively 74,1 and 23,6 %, and the combinations of the factors genotype, stress and origin had a considerable impact on the H2O2 content.
