| dc.description.abstract | The present study aims at the analysis of the translation peculiarities of irreversible binominals from English into Romanian. The study will employ a corpus-based approach, drawing on a diverse range of binominal expressions extracted from a set of official European documents. We will emphasize the semantic, structural and translational peculiarities of binominals, acknowledging the importance of preserving semantic equivalence when applying a certain translation technique. The study will stress out the challenges inherent in translating binominal expression from English into Romanian in the framework of official translation. | en |
