dc.description.abstractThis article analyzes the national gastronomic potential as a tourist attraction in the Republic of Moldova, assessing the actual status of its market share and identifying the characteristics of the gastronomic tourist. The aim of the analysis is to identify low-cost destinations, unique food/drinks, diversified leisure events and other tourist attractions. Moreover, gastronomic tourism can develop national agritourism in different areas with special gastronomic characteristics, which can be the basis of any form of mixed tourism.en
