| dc.description.abstract | Chemistry in the pre-university education system cannot exist without chemical formulas and equations. And chemical equations cannot be written correctly if the formula of the substances is not known. Formulas of substances are composed using the concept of VALENCE. However, knowledge of valence allows us to compose formulas for only a few compounds, and only those formed from atoms of two chemical elements. In this paper, instead of valence, it is proposed to use electric charges of atoms or groups of atoms to create formulas of substances. Combining particles with different charges allows the creation of formulas for a multitude of chemical compounds. At first, it is needed to make combinations in a playful manner without naming them. Next, it is proposed to determine the charges of atoms in the formulas of chemical compounds. The knowledge gained from studying the material presented in this work allows students to easily master topics about the chemical properties of the main classes of inorganic substances, redox reactions, electrolytic dissociation theory, and reactions in solutions. | en |
