STRATEGII DE TRADUCERE A MODELĂRII FIZIONOMIEI SOCIALE ȘI POLITICE ÎN ROMANUL ANTI-UTOPIE “SOUMISSION” DE MICHEL HOUELLEBECQ

Abstract

Articolul propune o scurtă analiză a problematicii traducerii romanului anti-utopie Soumission din perspective lingvistice și semiotice. Înscriindu-se preponderent în epoca postmodernismului, autorul Huellebecq propune cititorului său portretul unui individ occidental marcat de sentimentul depresiei, singurătății, pierderii de valori. Am analizat câteva elemente ale strategiilor de traducere aplicate nemijlocit la textul romanului. Ne-a interesat nivelul de păstrare în versiunile în limbile română și rusă a stilului autorului, cu amalgamul de registre funcționale, de implicit; am atras atenția la forma și calitatea redării în traduceri a elementelor formale úi paratextuale folosite în original.The article proposes a brief analysis of the translation issues of the anti-utopia novel "Soumission" from the linguistic and semiotic perspectives. Predominantly in the era of postmodernism, Houellebecq proposes to his reader the portrait of a Western individual marked by depression, loneliness, and loss of value. We have analyzed some elements of the translation strategies applied directly to the text of the novel. We were interested in the level of preservation of the author's style in the Romanian and Russian versions, with the amalgam of the functional registers and of the implicit; attention was drawn to the form and the quality of rendering the formal and the paratextual elements used in the original.
