dc.description.abstractThis work has the purpose to evaluate the state of the acid-base equilibrium and the buffer capacity of some lakes in Chisinau. It was established that the carbonic system has the main role in maintaining the acid-base equilibrium, the contribution of the humic one being insignificant. The results indicate that the investigated lakes are placed in the following order after their buffer capacity(mmolechiv/l): Portile orasului (0,6 ± 0,4) > Valea Morilor (0,6 ± 0,3) > Valea Trandafirilor (0,34 ± 0,14).en
