Abstract
Limbajul crengian este un exemplu perfect de împletire a expresivității, a
oralității, a scriiturii „savuroase”, prin care este ilustrată lumea satului tradițional al
secolului al XIX-lea, cu coloritul său local, rural, cu suita de activități și preocupări
cotidiene. Studiul de față analizează limbajul gastronomic al operei „Amintiri din
copilărie” prin prisma dimensiunilor variaționale: diacronie, diatopie, diastratie. Așadar,
termenii gastronomici identificați devin niște indici de variație, care relevă diferențele
diacronice, diatopice sau diastratice ale textului literar, distribuindu-l unui anumit spațiu
etno-geografic sau moment istoric, ilustrând cu dibăcie personajul, condiția socială a
acestuia, modul de viață și specificul cultural. Bucatele etalate de „gurmandul” narator
sunt mărturii ale lumii rurale – simplă, pașnică, nealterată de urban, preocupată de griji
mărunte, cotidiene, ducându-și traiul în armonie cu natura, cu cerul, respectând
credințele străbune. Inventarierea felurilor de mâncare din meniul humuleștean ne
permite să observăm că lucrarea lui Ion Creangă abundă în semnificații expresiv-estetice
contextuale și este un model perfect de redare a funcționării simultane armonioase a
acestor indici, ce edifică, de fapt, caracterul oral și popular al scriiturii crengiene
The literary language of Ion Creangă is a perfect example of expressiveness, orality, and "delicious" writing, a way of illustrating the world of the traditional village of the 19th century, with its local, rural features, with its daily activities and concerns. In this study, we analyze the gastronomic language of „Amintiri din copilărie” through the prism of the variational dimensions: diachronic, diatopic, and diastratic. The identified gastronomic terms become indices of variation, which reveal the diachronic, diatopic, or diastratic differences of the literary text, distributing it to a certain ethnicgeographical space or historical moment, illustrating the social condition, the way of living and the cultural peculiarities of the character. The dishes presented by the "gourmand" narrator are testimonies of the rural world – simple, peaceful, unaltered by urban vices, preoccupied with small, everyday concerns, living in harmony with nature, and the sky, and respecting ancient beliefs. This "inventory" demonstrates that Ion Creangă's work abounds in contextual expressive-aesthetic meanings and it is a perfect model for rendering the simultaneous harmonious functioning of these indices, which actually builds the oral and popular character of his writing.
