Abstract
The digitalization of processes within companies has seen a significant increase, so that employers can not give up control over the use of the Internet or devices by employees, because this aspect is related to work discipline. The objective of the article is to clarify the concept of digital freedom in the context of labor relations and the legal coverage provided by national and international norms. The analysis of the criteria that legitimize the monitoring of the digital activity of the employees will allow highlighting the limits of exercising the freedom of information and good practices.
