STRUCTURI EPONIMICE ÎN TERMINOLOGIA MEDICINEI DENTARE

Abstract

Termenii eponimici fac parte din terminologiile diferitor ramuri ale științei, funcționând în baza rigorilor de ordin morfologic și fonetic, tipice limbii în care sunt utilizați. Aceste structuri includ în componența lor un nume propriu sau derivatele lui și desemnează o noțiune specifică unui anumit domeniu. În medicină, un eponim este numele savantului, pe care îl poartă un sindrom, o boală, o probă, un test, o metodă. În articolul dat se analizează aspectul structural-semantic al eponimelor din domeniul medicinei dentare, statutul și rolul lor în cadrul acestei terminologii.The terminology of different branches of science contains eponyms. These terminological units include a proper name in their structure. A medical eponym is any syndrome, disease, test, method, clinical sign or medical technique that bears the name of the author or the scientist who was the first to discover, use or describe it. This article aims at investigating the structural and semantic aspects of dental care eponyms, their status and role within this terminological system.
