Cercetarea unor căi de sinteză a izotiocianatochalconelor [Articol]

Abstract

Different methodes of izothiocyanatochalcones′ synthesis were studied. Good results give the method which includescondensation of N,N-dimethylthioureidoacetophenones with aromatic aldehydes, followed by elimination of dimethylamine from the corresponding chalcone when it is being treated with acetic anhydride in the case of 4-dimethylamino-3′ and 4′-N,N-dimethylthioureidochalcones. Direct condensation of 4 dimethylaminobenzaldehyde with 4-izothiocyanatoacetophenone in the presence of acid catalyst gives a chalcone yield of 91%.
