Abstract

This paper analyzes the current state of primary pediatric care services in the Republic of Moldova, highlighting their essential role in disease prevention and child health promotion. It explores the broader context of healthcare reforms and outlines both best practices and ongoing challenges. A case study focused on AMT Botanica illustrates the local implementation of the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases. The paper proposes strategic measures to improve the efficiency, accessibility, and sustainability of pediatric healthcare services.
