Abstract

In this article the author analyses some aspects that accompany social labour relations, namely the professional training of employees. Thus, one of the components of labour relations, with a certain influence and which cannot be ignored by either employer or by employee, is the professional training of employees. Whether we approach professional training from the perspective of a possibility to solve company organizational and functional issues (preparing highly qualified specialists, creating a reserve of personnel, optimizing the structure, etc.), or only from the perspective of additional costs (searching for a replacement for the employee during the period of contract suspension, paying allowances for the period of studies, etc.), knowledge of the norms that regulate this institute of labour law becomes a necessary imperative and an opportunity to use the resources that are to be allocated to this area as efficiently as possible. The method used in the research includes the analysis of the acting regulatory framework as well the norms that establish rights and obligations for employers and employees in the domain of workforce professional training.
