Abstract

In order to identify the will of the people, which must prevail in the case of the legislator’s activity, the interpretation of the Constitution is of particular importance. This makes the activity of the Constitutional Court a cardinal one in discovering the true meanings of the Constitution. In this direction of research, the axiological model of the Constitution prevails, which emphasizes a set of constitutional principles that actually underpin the entire activity of interpreting the Constitution. Constitutional interpretation returns in force in legal doctrine, which focuses on overcoming strictly formalistic elements and taking into account historical, social, political factors and concrete circumstances.
