Abstract

Inter- and transdisciplinary approaches represent global trends in education and research, aiming to overcome traditional disciplinary boundaries. In the realization of a modern, formative education, the correlation of knowledge contributes substantially to the formation and development of the flexibility of thinking, the capacities of application in practice. At the same time, the integration of inter- and transdisciplinary perspectives in the educational process favors the multifaceted development of students: intellectual, emotional, social and aesthetic. In the context of studying literary texts, inter- and transdisciplinary perspectives are extremely valuable, because they promote their deep understanding by correlating them with other fields of knowledge (social sciences, history, philosophy, exact sciences, etc.), offering a complex vision of literature, stimulating critical thinking and creativity.
