Abstract

The Republic of Moldova has a diverse natural, cultural, and social potential that can stimulate local economic development, particularly in rural areas, through rural tourism. Development policies and access to national and international funds support the creation of the necessary infrastructure for local tourism businesses. The implementation of cluster concepts and Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) contributes to the consolidation of the local economy by integrating and promoting tourism products and services. Collaboration between authorities, the private sector, and other partners is essential to ensure sustainable development and economic growth at the local level.
