ПОЛИТИКА РАСШИРЕНИЯ ЕС НА ЗАПАДНЫЕ БАЛКАНЫ

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются перспективы расширения Европейского Союза в направлении Западных Балкан. И несмотря на то, что пока ни один кандидат западных Балкан не готов к вступлению в ЕС, страны кандидаты ведут переговоры, в которых акцентируют внимание на вопросах верховенства права, правосудия и соблюдения основополагающих прав. Также в работе рассматриваются действия Европейского Союза, поддерживающего инициативы Балканских государств в различных областях, основываясь на "Критериях Копенгагена", которые являются основой Стратегии расширения на Западные Балканы.The article discusses the prospects for the expansion of the European Union in the direction of the Western Balkans. And despite the fact that so far no candidate of the western Balkans is ready to join the EU, the candidate countries are negotiating, in which they focus on issues of the rule of law, justice and respect for fundamental rights. The paper also examines the actions of the European Union, which supports the initiatives of the Balkan States in various fields, based on the "Copenhagen Criteria", which are the basis of the Strategy of Expansion to the Western Balkans.
