Abstract
The institution of the termination of the criminal process represents a current topic,
because it directly ensures the protection of human rights and freedoms. Although the termination
of the criminal process can be interpreted as an action that is based on the exhaustive
grounds provided by law, it also causes a series of discussions among theorists
and practitioners
