Abstract

The article contains a brief study on the issue of the judge’s responsibility as a guarantee of the defense of human rights. Starting from the actuality of the institution of the judge’s legal responsibility in the contemporary period, the author elucidates the particularities of its understanding and the forms it involves. The focus is mostly on the value and role of the judge’s disciplinary liability, criminal liability and patrimonial liability for the effective respect and defense of human rights.
