Abstract
As a result of the analysis of the member’s of the state status within the framework of the IGO, from the point of view of the sovereign equality of states, we observe that states are not equal in rights and obligations; this is just an illusion within the framework of the IGO. First of all, states relinquish, to their detriment, part of their authority by joining the IGO. This fact can be considered as a violation of the principle of sovereign equality of states. In addition, states are often unequal to each other, being a member of an international organization States that are more developed economically, militarily, or even for the simple reason that they are the winners of World War II, take all important decisions, as is the case with the 5 permanent members of the SC within the UN.
