Item CARACTERISTICA GENERALĂ ŞI BENEFICIILE SPIRULINEI PLATENSIS ÎN BIOLOGIE ŞI MEDICINĂ(CEP USM, 2011) Casco, DoinaSpirulina is a photosynthetic, filamentous, spiral-shaped, multi-cellular and green-blue micro-alga.The most important species is Spirulina platensis. Its chemical composition includes proteins (55%-70%), carbohydrates (15%-25%), essential fatty acids (18%) vitamins, minerals and pigments like carotenes, chlorophyll a and phycocyanin. The alga administration as supplementare contribute to decreasing of glucose, increasing of erythrocytes, and maintaining of the same level of blood sedimenttation speed in comparison with control. In the case of administration in the present of diabetes were observed the decreasing of glucose level in blood, decreasing of blood sedimentation speed level and increasing of erythrocytes level and also of haemoglobin. In such way we can affirm that Spirulina biomass grown on waste waters from live-stock are influenced positively in both cases: in case of administration as supplement and also in case of diabetes.Item UTILIZAREA BIOMASEI DE SPIRULINA PLATENSIS (NORDST.) GEITL reared poultrycomplexes from waste waters as nutritional supplement in broilers Spirulina administration increases the waste water asa supplement in chicken broiler nutrition, contributes to increase sustainability, increases body weight by 10/15% of control,determines growth of internal organ weights 27-40%, favorites the state of the haematological indices of the blood.Item INFLUENŢA VALORII pH ASUPRA PRODUCTIVITĂŢII ŞI COMPONENŢEI BIOCHIMICE A MICROALGEI DUNALIELLA SALINA LA CULTIVARE PE LICHIDUL CULTURAL AL SPIRULINEI(CEP USM, 2007) Bivol, CezaraGreen microalgae Dunaliella salina is largely used in modern biotechnology due to its high content of some bioactive substances, in special glycerol and β-carotene. One of the key factors in the cultivation process of dunaliella is the pH level. Productivity and biochemical composition of Dunaliella salina cultivated on new nutritive medium – cultural liquid obtained at producing blue-green algae Spirulina platensis – have been studied. S-a stabilit că aplicarea combinată a unor astfel de factori, cum sunt intensitatea luminii şi suplimentarea citratului de fier la mediul nutritiv, condiţionează majorarea conţinutului de carotenoizi şi fier în biomasa de spirulină la cultivare în decurs de 10 zile
