    This article is devoted to the methodical problem of teaching reading in English classes, and the description of the methodical problem of teaching reading in English classes is widely covered. It has been suggested that teaching the language based on English texts in English classes is a more effective method, but the development of reading competence in teaching English as the specific purposes. The article presents the scientific researches and expected results on the use of English texts in vocationally oriented English teaching. This article is important for foreign language teachers in the process of language teaching, for students studying a foreign language in the preparation of qualification work.

    The importance of reading in foreign language lessons is constantly increasing. In today’s foreign language lessons, reading primarily means understanding the essential content. Reading in a foreign language is a challenge because it allows you to deal with foreign factual and linguistic knowledge. Students can acquire reading skills in a foreign language through systematic work with different types of texts in class. Choosing the right reading strategy is an important goal in developing reading comprehension.
