Item Trăirile personajelor și evoluția subiectului din perspectiva fenomenelor naturii în romanul realist francez din secolul al XIX-lea [Articol](CEP USM, 2025) Gheorghiță, AnaNature is present everywhere in the French realist writers works, contributing, through the skillful exploitation of the symbolic potential encoded in colors, shades, tones and halftones, to subject line development, to messages formulation, to affective states induction, etc. At the same time, nature descriptions are often constituted, in the plastic arts best traditions, in small landscapes and pictorial compositions. The study focuses on elucidating the concept of "modern literature" and the cultural movement directed against the traditional elite and its Confucian values, which have inspired a generation of young intellectuals captivated by the idea of national rebirth and social modernization by adopting Western political, scientific and cultural models. A particular analytical attention is paid to the novel "Midnight" (1933) and the writer's radical obsession with his own kind of realism.
