    PERSPECTIVE ASUPRA TIPOLOGIEI TEXTELOR

    The multidimensional character of text has generated an increased interest among linguists over the last decades. Text and textology have become important research directions and as a result, today we have text linguistics, another branch of general linguistics. Despite this, the multitude of contradictory opinions on text and textuality gives rise, in its turn, to yet another branch of text linguistics and exactly to text typology (classification). The present study, therefore, aims at investigating and presenting the existing criteria for text classification as well as the varied terminology used by various specialists in the field, such as Adam J. M., Biber D., Trosborg A., Werlich E., Hatim B. and Mason I., de Beaugrande D. and Dressler W., etc.

    DIMENSIUNEA LOGICO - SEMANTICĂ A TEXTULUI

    Textul ca unitate funcţională superioară de comunicare, în ultimul timp, a devenit o preocupare reală şi atractivă pentru diferite categorii de cercetători: filologi, filosofi, psihologi etc., fiind examinat sub variate aspecte. În acest articol, luând în considerare conceptele teoretice, principiile de redactare a textului, am încercat să demonstrăm în ce constă dimensiunea sa logico-semantică, ce relevanţă are ea asupra receptorului, dacă corespunde orizontului său de aşteptare. Am comentat mai multe microtexte (fragmente) şi unele texte integrale ale unor autori notorii, selectate, cu precădere, din publicistica actuală.

    TEXT ŞI HIPERTEXT: ELEMENTE DE CONTINUITATE

    Studiile despre hipertext s-au construit pe baza unei opoziţii între text şi hipertext. Superioritatea hipertextului era justificată prin astfel de inovaţii ca non-linearitatea, tabularitatea şi libertatea. O abordare prin prisma evoluţiei formelor scrise demonstrează că noţiunile de text şi hipertext se află într-un raport decontinuitate, iar inovaţiile reprezintă forme evoluate ale unor trăsături existente.

    PROCEDURES OF TRANSLATING LEXICAL AND SYNTACTICAL STYLISTIC DEVICES IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

    The present article seeks to outline the theoretical and practical framework of the procedures used in translating lexical and syntactical figures of speech in political discourses with the purpose of persuading the public opinion by means of emotionally colored words. The process of translating figures of speech deals with finding secondary meaning in the source language, and cultural meaning and appropriate equivalence in the target language. Thus, we aim at determining and applying the most adequate and efficient procedures the translator a may resort to in the process of rendering vivid examples of stylistic devices from English into Romanian.

    LES PARTICULARITÉS DE TRADUCTIO N DES UNITÉS TERMINOLOGIQUES DANS LES TEXTES SOCIO-POLITIQUES

    This article is a study of terminological phraseology and of the peculiarities of translating erminological units of socio-political texts from French into Romanian. The theme is part of the research related to lexicology, terminology and translation studies under a formal, semantic and conceptual dimension. Investigating the phenomenon from a new linguistic perspective is a necessity of the time and of the fact that the translation process identifies difficulties of comprehension and translation (rendering the exact meaning) of the sociopolitical erminological units. The main issues presented in the article are: the problem of the lexical eaning and the effect of the meaning, inter-linguistic research problems – difficulties and echniques of translating the sociopolitical terminological units.
