    PARTICULARITĂȚI SEMANTICE ÎN ANALIZA SINCRONICĂ A TERMINOLOGIEI EDITORIAL-POLIGRAFICE

    Terminology is a complex discipline, which studies the definition and description of terms and of terminological systems. The classification of terms from one certain terminological system, in our case of editorial-polygraphic terminology, can be accomplished from the structural, morphologic, semanic and etymologic point of view. The synchronic analysis of semantic peculiarities of editorial-polygraphic terminology can be achieved by paying attention to the class of concepts it denotes. Given the fact that the semantic relations between terms are complex, it is not an easy task to structure editorial-polygraphic terminology in a coherent system. Thus, the fundamental problem in organizing hierarchically the concepts is the result of the polysemantic relations between terms.

    DIMENSIUNEA STRUCTURAL-FUNCȚIONALĂ A TERMINOLOGIEI MEDICALE

    Terminologia medicală reprezintă o formă particulară de limbaj specializat ce se află în continuă dezvoltare, un cod comun al vorbitorilor care formează comunitatea medicală. Acest limbaj reflectă istoria civilizației mondiale prin termenii săi, care au ajuns la noi de-a lungul secolelor, fiind amprentele digitale ale culturii, o viziune asupra lumii, modalități de transmitere, percepție și stocare a informației despre diverse fenomene medicale. Acest articol reprezintă un studiu analitic al aspectului structural- funcțional al terminologiei medicale prin relevarea principalelor particularități ale originii, tipurilor de unități terminologice, mijloacelor de îmbogățire a limbajului medical. Sinapsia, ca procedeu de formare a cuvintelor noi, este întotdeauna actuală într-un limbaj specializat, inclusiv și în domeniul medical.

    ASPECTE DISCURSIV-PRAGMATICE ALE PLEDOARIEI ÎN ȘEDINȚA DE JUDECATĂ

    The present study is a discursive-pragmatic approach to pleadings. The aim of the article resides in analysing the legal discourse (pleadings) from the perspective of communicative behaviours and the possibilities of combinations that derive from the interaction of the sender’s choices and coercions. The pleading is a well structured discourse which is presented in an original manner with the purpose of obtaining a desired result – manipulation of the audience. Hence, we analysed the role of argumentation and persuasion in creating a pleading, the fundamental elements of the pleading and the lawyer’s skills in drafting this type of legal discourse. The ability to transpose legal rules into words capable to influence the receiver of the act of communication is proof of the fact that pleading is an art.

    SPECIAL ENGLISH TEXTS TRANSLATION INTO ROMANIAN VIA BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE

    Articolul este dedicat traducerii în limba română a textelor engleze specializate din domeniul economiei, principiul de bază al traducerii fiind eliminarea barierelor lingvistice şi culturale între oamenii de diferite naţionalităţi. S-a observat că echivalenţa şi precizia traducerii sunt rezultatul analizei formale, semantice şi paradigmatice a termenilor în cauză. Am analizat termeni cu un element, două, trei şi patru elemente în prepoziţie sau postpoziţie faţă de nucleul termenului. Traducerea lor a fost perfectată conform dicţionarelor, dar şi de asemenea ca rezultat al consultării cu specialişti din domeniu.

    MOTIVATION ET REUSSITE EN LANGUE DE SPECIALITE

    Acest articol propune un scurt istoric al apariţiei şi evoluţiei sintagmei»limbă de specialitate» din momentul apariţiei până în prezent. Limba franceză de specialitate apare din necesitatea adaptării acesteia la o activitate profesională. Comunicarea verbală şi simularea stau la baza unei lecţii de franceză de specialitate. Legătura tot mai strânsă dintre facultăţii cu câmpl muncii face ca sarcinile instructiv educative să fie mai mare în acest sens. De aceea cunoaşterea factorilor ce stau la baza reuşitei învăţării unei limbi străine de specialite preocupă specialiştii din domeniu.

    EXTENSIUNEA SEMNIFICAŢIEI TERMENILOR JURIDICI ÎN DIVERSE CONTEXTE

    In addition to a wide range of specialized terms and expressions, legal texts are also characterized by the presence of a large number of words which belong to the common vocabulary, but which are assigned either special or vague meanings in this type of discourse. Various research studies, and differing kinds of research, indicate that context plays the major role in understanding and identifying the appropriate meaning of the terms. Context carries tremendous importance in disambiguation of meanings as well as in understanding the actual meaning of words. Therefore, understanding the context becomes an important task in the area of linguistics, as it triggers variation of meaning and supplies valuable information to understand why and how a particular term varies in meaning according to the type of discourse.

    TERMINOLOGIA EDITORIAL-POLIGRAFICĂ. ASPECTE DIACRONICE

    Terminology is the set of terms belonging to the special language of an individual subject field. Any scientific, technical, or social field has its own range of terms. We have to acknowledge the fact that the terminology of a certain area is not just a state, a phenomenon, but a continuously developing process. The majority of the constitutive terms of the editorial-polygraphic terminology represent neologisms borrowed from other languages. Few of them are of Romanian origin, qualified as national ones from the point of view of forming and usage, and appeared as the result of practicing some autochthonous arts and crafts. The borrowings have been made through various ways and differ from one historical period to another and from one region to another. These are the terms of scientific, international origin, as a rule, appeared as a result of the development of the world civilization. Either way, it has been established that regardless their origin, they have the same evolution as the other words of the language, being subjected to common linguistic and extra-linguistic processes.

    The grammatical peculiarities of religious texts hold the researchers attention, which highlight various phenomena, as for example periphrastic and tautological constructions, inverse verb forms, displacement and other topics reshaping, etc. In this article we propose to describe some of these forms, attested in the texts of some Akatist.
