LIMBAJUL SPECIALIZAT INTERDISCIPLINAR: ETIOLOGIE ȘI FUNCȚIONALITATE
(Editura USM, 2024) Mincu, Eugenia; Macovei, Dorina
The etiology and functionality of the specialized interdisciplinary language are the result of the interaction of the fields of knowledge. The need for domain and interdomain denomination imposes the use of metaphors (demetaphorization and remetaphorization), that is, the use of a metaphor-term, by associating it with an image or with a specialized abstract concept (specification of specialized, abstract, or complex concepts). These metaphors come from various fields of knowledge and can be adapted and integrated into a new specialized context, going through semantic changes, being subject to the process of meronymy (part-whole relationship), part of semantic hierarchization, hypo-/hyperonymy.

    LIMBAJE SPECIALIZATE. DIDACTICA AFORISTICĂ
(CEP USM, 2023) Mincu, Eugenia; Macovei, Dorina
Latin is the “language of communication” par excellence, of understanding the reality, of cultivating universal-existential values. The frequent use of the Latin corpus (in various fields of activity), its popularization, etc. demonstrates the vitality of the Latin language, which is considered a model of scientific, personal, and professional training. Latin aphorisms and phrases are a form of human didactics. The article concerns Latin idiomatics correlated to teaching specialized languages. At the level of professional training, we distinguish fixed aphorisms and phrases (legal, medical terminology, etc.) and interdisciplinary Latin aphorisms and phrases. At the level of personal training, these formulas cultivate good qualities: for example, the feelings of: respect –Pulchra res homo est si homo est/A human being is a beautiful ifhe is human, etc.; tolerance – De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum/Tastes and colours are not discussed; temperance: Si tacuisses, philosŏphus mansisses/Had you kept silent, you would have remaineda philosopher, etc. At the same time, we refer to the translinguistic status of the aphoristic corpus and the interlinguistic differences (Romanian, French, English, Russian, etc.) as a result of this multilingualand intercultural status.

AFORISMELE ȘI EXPRESIILE LATINE: DIMENSIUNEA GASTRONOMICĂ
(CEP USM, 2023) Mincu, Eugenia; Macovei, Dorina
Aforismele și expresiile latine sunt susceptibile a fi analizate din perspectivă gastronomică având drept reper raporturile conceptuale logice (teoria Wuster), care implică şi raporturi abstracte între două noţiuni. Hiperonimul homo, ǐnis, m subordonează conceptele: corpus, ǒris, n – corp → trunchus, i, m – trunchi → venter, tris, m – ventru: Ex ventre crasso tenuem sensum non nasci/O sensibilitate fină nu apare dintr-o burtă grasă → stomăchus, i, m – stomac: Epistŭla plena stomachi/Epistula plină a stomacului „indispoziție”. Fiecare dintre aceste segmente pot implica hiponime, în situația în care nu ating limita inferioară.
