This article targets the importance of developing the dialogue-based communication within the German language lessons. The attempt to find an ideal learning method might be far-fetched, as learning styles differ from student to student. Education and training takes place mostly through dialogue. Thanks to the interchanges in the classrooms, learner autonomy and intellectual activity can be fostered, learning styles that promote independence can be trained, the ability to engage in dialogue is encouraged, and democratic forms of communication are developed. The lesson is about communication, which means that it must create enough free space for proper opportunities to speak. The strong promotion of communication skills and willingness of pupils/students is definitely worth it.
