Science explains that there are no simple concepts, each having relative
and absolute character. The present study presents the correlation between time and
space in relation to the literary world of Chisinau. Thus, the city of Chisinau in
artistic texts, over the years, is seen from several perspectives, depending on the
emotional, aesthetic, axiological or historical dimension that the author wants to
polish in the work. In this sense, the symbolic richness of Chisinau’s chronotopic
structures, reproduced in the works of contemporary Romanian writers, requires an
interdisciplinary approach, in order to elucidate the constraint of literary analysis
horizons.
