Item IMPACT OF COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE TESTING IN ENHANCING STUDENTS’ CAPACITY(Editura USM, 2024) Bashirov, OxanaThe great economic, technological and political changes in the world made learners’ need for mastering foreign languages even more acute than before. The present study focuses on the use of communicative assessments to evaluate language learners’ capacity to use the target language in real-world contexts. This article highlights the fact that communicative tests aim to assess the learner’s communicative skills and their ability to use the language in order to cope with actual communicative situations. The communicative language testing approach infers that a student is considered successful in learning the target language if he/she can communicate or use knowledge and skills by way of authentic listening, speaking, reading and writing.Item INNOVATIVE CLASSROOM TECHNIQUES OF TEACHING SPECIALIZED VOCABULARY AT THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL(CEP USM, 2022-03-12) Bashirov, OxanaLucrarea de faţă explorează diverse tehnici şi metode de predare a vocabularului specializat, utilizate în predarea limbii engleze de către profesorii de limba engleză. Dacă în mod tradiţional limba engleză punea accent pe studierea amănunţită a regulilor gramaticale, în defavoarea vocabularului, o dată cu folosirea tot mai frecventă a metodelor bazate pe comunicare, studierea vocabularului şi-a recăpătat locul bine meritat. Articolul de faţă analizează rolul pe care îl are vocabularul în învăţarea limbii engleze de specialitate. Principalele idei ale articolului se referă la importanţa pe care o are acesta în cunoaşterea unei limbi străine şi descrie tehnici care pot face predarea atractivă şi eficientă pentru studenţi. Prin urmare, necesitatea de a preda în mod eficient vocabularul specializat, este provocarea de bază pentru majoritatea profesorilor de limbi străine.Item PARTICULARITĂȚI LINGVISTICE ȘI METODOLOGICE ALE STUDIERII LIMBII ENGLEZE PRIN INTERMEDIUL COOPERĂRII(CEP USM, 2023) Bashirov, OxanaThe process of cooperative learning involves students working together in small groups on a structured activity. This type of learning differs from the traditional, teacher- centered classroom in that it is student-centered. In a traditional classroom, the teacher plays the role of “learning disseminator”, giving the students all of the information they need. In a cooperative classroom the teacher takes on the role of “learning facilitator”, helping students figure out what information will be helpful to complete the assigned task. The purpose of the present article is to reveal the effect of cooperative learning on language skills in an English course. It is highlighted the fact that cooperative learning has a larger effect on vocabulary knowledge, grammar, listening and reading skills compared to traditional methods.Item DISTANCE LEARNING: ONLINE TEACHING TOOLS AND APPROACHES(Print-Caro, 2021) Bashirov, OxanaÎn secolul XXI tehnologiile ocupă un loc tot mai important în viața cotidiană, iar tehnologizarea procesului educațional este inevitabilă. Acest proces a devenit și mai vital în contextul pandemiei COVID-19 și trecerea la învățământul online. Într-un pas mai lent, sau mai alert utilizarea tehnologiilor digitale în procesul educațional la distanță duce la schimbarea și îmbunătățirea sistemului educațional. Prin aplicarea tehnologiilor și diferitelor instrumente digitale procesul de predareînvățare va reuşi să facă faţă provocărilor timpului și să răspundă nevoilor educaționale a nativilor digitali. Lucrarea de față studiază rolul instrumentelor utilizate în procesul de predare la distanță și încearcă să evidențieze necesitatea implementării lor în scopul eficientizării învăţării şi sporirii calităţii produselor şi proceselor de învăţare. Iniţierea acestui tip de învăţare necesită o atenţie sporită asupra contextului şi obiectului de învăţare, finalităţilor, caracteristicilor instruiţilor în scopul de a atinge combinaţia optimă de instrumente de instruire şi metode de furnizare.Item VALOAREA EDUCATIVĂ A PROVERBELOR ÎN LIMBA ENGLEZĂ ŞI ÎN LIMBA ROMÂNĂ(CEP USM, 2010) Bashirov, OxanaIn the present article the leading role of the Romanian folk education and aphoristics in the new generation’s education are emphasized. The most important role in preserving, development, spreading, cultivation, and enhancing the cultural legacy, is carried out by the nation and the educational system. It should be mentioned that the Romanian and English aphoristics consider moral education as the foundation of overall education. Proverbs and sayings that date back to the ancient times have a content that points out truths from all the spheres of life and always remain national values in the moral education of the people of different ages. Wisdom has always been a kind of learning for the human intellect, which has manifested with the help of the proverbs, sayings, maxims and aphorisms. In fact, the proverbs are condensed history of a series of life experiments, most of them being sad, bitter, where those that should succeed are suppressed by the soul’s weakness.Item CLEFT SENTENCES AS A MEANS OF EXPRESSING INTENSITY(CEP USM, 2010) Bashirov, OxanaÎn articolul dat este reflectată abordarea şi confruntarea multilaterală a intensităţii în limba engleză, în scopul de a releva, în linii generale, mijloacele de exprimare specifice. Modalităţile lexico-gramaticale de exprimare a intensităţii în limba engleză sunt stabilite de interesul ştiinţific şi de evidenţierea elementelor relevante într-o propoziţie. Folosirea intensificatorilor solicită utilizarea mijloacelor lingvistice, care aparţin diferitelor compartimente ale limbii – fonetica, morfologia, lexicul şi sintaxa.
