    Sinteza și cercetarea proprietăților farmacofore ale unor N-(dimetilfenil) hidrazincarbotioamide [Articol]

    The present study was focused on the synthesis of some N-(dimethylphenyl)hydrazine carbothioamides 1-4, that contain the following N-substituents: 2,4-dimethylphenyl; 2,5-dimethylphenyl; 2,6-dimethylphenyl; 3,4-dimethylphenyl, to increase lipophilicity and N-(dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamides 5-8, analogous of Triapine. The structural formula of the compounds was characterized by means of spectroscopy: FT-IR, 1H-, and 13CRMN, and the molecular structure, for the first time, by means of X-ray diffraction. The study of antioxidant activity has shown that all compounds 1-8 are powerful antioxidants. N-(dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamides 5-8 were tested as inhibitors of MCF-7 (breast cancer) cell proliferation. It was found that all the compounds exhibit activity comparable to that of Doxorubicin, among them the compound N-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)-2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylidene)hydrazinecarbothioamide 6, with IC50=0.8 μM/L, demonstrated the highest activity.

    Sinteza combinațiilor coordinative noi ale unor metale 3d în baza N(4)-(acetat de etil) tiosemicarbazonelor 2-formil și 2-acetil piridinei. Proprietăți antioxidante [Articol]

    The given work includes the description of methods for the synthesis of new coordinative combinations of Cu(II), Mn(II), Fe(III) Co(III), Ni(II) and Zn(II) with N(4)-(ethyl acetate) thiosemicarbazones of 2-formylpyridine and 2-acetylpyridine. The characterization of the newly synthesized compounds was carried out using 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FTIR spectroscopy, conductivity, and elemental analysis. In addition, the structures of N(4)-(ethyl acetate) thiosemicarbazide and N(4)-(ethyl acetate) thiosemicarbazone 2-acetylpyridine (HL2) were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction. The antioxidant activity of coordinative combinations was studied and compared with that of free ligands. The most pronounced antioxidant properties are possessed by [Ni(L2)Cl], whose value of IC50=15,05 μM is three times higher than the IC50=46,76 μM of the non-coordinating ligand and about 2,5 times higher than the reference substances Rutin and Trolox.

    Synthesis, characterization, antioxidant activity evaluation of 3d metals complexes with N(4)-((3)-ethyl benzoate) thiosemicarbazones of 2-formyl(2-acetyl, 2-benzoil)pyridine [Articol]

    The paper presents the synthesis of new coordination compounds of Cu(II), Mn(II), Fe(III) Co(III), Ni(II) and Zn(II) with N(4)-((3)-ethyl benzoate)thiosemicarbazones of 2-formyl pyridine derivatives obtained through the condensation of N(4)-((m)-ethyl benzoate) thiosemicarbazide with 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde, 2-acetylpyridine and 2-benzoylpyridine. The characterization of new compounds was done by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR spectroscopy, conductivity and elemental analysis. In addition, the structures of the ligands (HL1,3) were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The effect of these complexes on antioxidant activity were studied and compared with those of free ligands. The best result was found to be on coordination compound [Zn(L1)Cl], with IC50 = 11.45 μM, it is better than the free ligand HL1, IC50 = 13.15 μM and is better than the substance Trolox, IC50 = 15.86 μM (it is a pronounced antioxidant taken as a control substance).

    Sinteza, structura și proprietățile compușilor coordinativi ai unor metale 3dCu 4-(dimetilfenil)-tiosemicarbazone ale 2-hidroxi-3-metoxibenzaldehidei [Articol]

    Au fost sintetizate trei 4-(dimetilfenil)-tiosemicarbazone (H2L1-3) ale 2-hidroxi-3-metoxibenzaldehidei şi 47 compuși coordinativi ai cuprului, cobaltului, nichelului și fierului cu azometine H2L1-3și diferite amine (A) sau sulfanilamide (Sf), pentru care în baza datelor analizei elementale a fost stabilită compoziția: Cu(HL1-2)X·nH2O (X = Cl-, Br-, ClO4-, NO3-, n = 0,4), Co(HL1-2) 2X (X = Cl-, NO3-),Cu(L1-3)A(A = H2O; Im; 2,2’-Bipy; o-Phen; 3,5-Br2py; Sf1-4), Fe(HL1)2X·nH2O (X = Cl-, NO3-; n = 0, 2), Ni(L1-2)H2O și Ni(H2L1)(L1)·C2H5OH. În compoziția complecșilor sintetizațitiosemicarbazonele H2L1-3 se comportă ca liganzi mono-sau tridentați neutri, mono-sau dublu-deprotonați. Cercetarea magnetochimică a demonstrat că compușii coordinativi ai cuprului au structură mononucleară sau polinucleară. În cazul compuși lor de cobalt și nichel s-au stabilit proprietăți diamagnetice. Compuşii coordinativi sintetizaţi nu manifestă activitate antimicrobiană faţă de Eschirichia coli, dar manifestă activitate bacteriostatică şi bactericidă faţă de microorganismele gram-pozitive şi fungi în diapazonul concentrațiilor 0,00006 –1,0 mg/mL. S-a stabilit că asupra activității antimicrobiene a compușilor influențează natura atomului central, tiosemicarbazonei, aminei, sulfanilamidei și a restului de acid și pentru complecșii cu compoziție asemămătoare se schimbă conform șirurilor: Cu Ni ˃˃ Fe Co; H2L3˃ H2L2˃ H2L1; NO3-Br-˃ ClO4-˃ Cl-; 2,2’-Bpy ˃ 3,5-Br2Py ˃ Im ˃ o-Phen; Sf4 Sf3Sf2Sf1. În diapazonul concentrațiilor 10-5 -10-7 mol/L complecșii manifestă activitate antioxidativă de 1,6-9 ori mai înaltă decât activitatea antioxidativă a Troloxului, utilizat în medicină în calitate de etalon la determinarea proprietăților antioxidativeale compușilor naturali și sintetici.
