The effectiveness and full operational capacity of the state security and defense sector constitute a vital element for sustainable development of the state and, accordingly, for growth of population welfare and socio-economic environment. In this study the authors identify that presently becomes extremely significant the concentration of state and society efforts to consolidate the military body to achieve the level at which the capacity to effectively defend the national interests of the Republic of Moldova becomes possible. Synchronizing the process of reforming defense and security sectors through institutional and conceptual approach would lead to the improvement of the military security system to prevent increasingly complex threats and perils.Item SECURITATEA MILITARĂ A REPUBLICII MOLDOVA ÎN CONTEXTUL AMPLIFICĂRII RISCURILOR ȘI AMENINȚĂRILOR DE SECURITATE ÎN REGIUNEA SUD-EST EUROPEANĂ(Institutul naţional de informaţii şi securitate „Bogdan, întemeietorul Moldovei”, 2022-05-14) Sprincean, Sprincean; Pașcan, TudorMilitary security is the implementation of military policy and characterizes the state of realization of a country's national interest in the military domain and is a guarantee of its defense against military threats and external aggression. Ensuring the military security of the Republic of Moldova is impossible without consolidating the global and regional stability, as well as without maintaining the defense capacity at the level that would allow the prevention of military conflicts and the response of any form of external aggression. The Republic of Moldova is strengthening its security, with NATO support, and international cooperation, based on innovation, research, capacity building, and the exchange of knowledge, in order to ensure human security and respond to emerging security challenges.
