ABORDAREA COGNITIVĂ A METAFOREI ÎN DISCURSUL DESPRE IDENTITATE (ÎN LIMBILE GERMANĂ ŞI ROMÂNĂ)

Abstract

In prezentul articol ne propunem analiza expresiilor metaforice din 35 de discursuri prezidenţiale în limba germană şi 91 de discursuri prezidenţiale în limba română, însumâ nd două corpusuri discursive de peste 100000 de cuvinte pentru fiecare limbă. Discursurile vor fi analizate prin prisma a două modele principale de identitate metaforică: modelul identităţii primordiale (naturale) şi modelul identităţii civice (construite). Pentru identificarea expresiilor metaforice vom utilizametoda MIP (Metaphor Identification Procedure) elaborată de Pragglejaz Group şi metoda onomasiologico-cognitivă elaborată de Olaf Jäkel, iar pentru interpretarea acestora vom folosi o combinaţie de metode,precum:modelul teoretic de interpretare a expresiilor metaforice bazat pe întrebări propus de Zimmermann, precum şi modelul domeniilor metaforice propus de R.Hülsse.

In this article we aim to analyse the metaphorical expressions of 35 presidential speeches in German and 91 presidential speeches in Romanian, totalling two discursive corpora of over 100.000 words for each language. The discourses will be analysed through the prism of two main models of metaphorical identity: the model of primordial identity (natural) and the model of civic identity (constructed). For identifying metaphorical expressions, we will use the MIP method (Metaphor Identification Procedure) by the Pragglejaz Group and the onomasiological-cognitive method by Olaf Jäkel, and for their inter pretation, we will use a combination of methods such as the theoretical model of interpretation of metaphorical expressions based on Zimmermann questions and the model of metaphorical domains proposed by R.Hülsse.
