Abstract

In the exercise of their duties, the employees of the Police carry out their activity in the support and in the interest of the citizens, as well as of the communities. Police and civil society, being in constant interaction, influence each other in an active way, achieving certain goals, using various principles, types and forms. The police must be organized in such a way as to promote good relations between the police and the population, and possibly effective cooperation with other bodies, local associations, non-governmental organizations and other representatives of the population. In this sense, in current conditions it is necessary to open the Police to society, to establish jointly, as well as to implement the diversity of tools and mechanisms for monitoring the activity carried out, in order to efficiently, professionally and transparently perform the tasks and responsibilities assigned to it.
