UN MODEL DE LECTURĂ SINCRETICĂ ILUSTRAT ÎN BAZA ROMANULUI NUMELE TRANDAFIRULUI DE UMBERTO ECO

Abstract

Articolul propune un nou model de lectură ilustrat în baza romanului Numele tranda- firului de Umberto Eco. Modelul îmbină echilibrat cercetarea instanțelor intratextuale cu studiul celor extratextuale. Totodată, individualizat prin determinantul „sincretic(ă)”, modelul presupune o aborare tridimensională, din perspectiva dialogismului, a teoriei intertextuale şi a sociocriticii. Necesitatea conceptualizării unui modelul de lectură sincretică este condiționată de caracteristicile textelor moderne şi postmoderne. Pornind de la principiul dialogic şi ideea perspectivismului, modelul de lectură sincretică urmăreşte să depăşească problema interpretărilor inadecvate, parțiale şi rigide. Algoritmul lecturii sincretice presupune trei etape de parcurs: Pre-lectura, Lectura propriu-zisă şi Post-lectura, fiecare dintre acestea, la rândul lor, impun un şir de operații de realizat. Exercițiul de lectură sincreti că realizat în baza Numelui trandafirului ilustrează aplicabilitatea modelului conceptualizat, eficiența etapelor şi operațiilor de realizat.

The article proposes a new reading model illustrated on the novel The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco. The model balances the research of intratextual instances with the study of extratex- tual ones. At the same time, individualized by the “syncretic” determinant, the model presupposes a three-dimensional approach, from the perspective of dialogism, intertextual theory and sociocriticism. The need to conceptualize a syncretic model of reading is conditioned by the characteristics of modern and postmodern texts. Starting from the dialogic principle and the idea of perspectivism, the syncretic model of reading aims to overcome the problem of inadequate, partial and rigid interpretations. The syncretic reading algorithm involves three stages: Pre-reading, Proper reading and Post-reading, each of which, in turn, requires a series of operations to be performed. The syncretic reading exercise based on The Name of the rose illustrates the applicability of the conceptualized model, the efficiency of the steps and operations to be performed.
