Abstract

Telework is a form of work organization and delivery of work, which can be identified with home work. It involves the conclusion of an individual employment contract and the work is carried out, possibly away from the employer's premises. It is specific in that it consists in the performance of work, including the use of information and communication technology. Remote work is relatively new in the Republic of Moldova, but at the same time applicable in more and more foreign and domestic establishments and if previously it could be applied as an exception, now it appears as a normality. An important factor for the smooth running of the work is a high discipline and personal responsibility of each employee and it is not suitable for all employees. But if we speak from the employer's point of view, not all activities allow teleworking. No matter where you work, whether on-site or remote, it comes with its own set of challenges in terms of the obligations, responsibilities, and schedule you create, as well as the efficiency you demonstrate. Ultimately the parties will decide which work organization mechanism is acceptable to them.
