Abstract

In the 21st century, social media has become a central element of social, economic and political life, exerting a deep influence on collective perceptions and national security. The Republic of Moldova, located on the border of geopolitical interests of two poles of influence, is exposed to significant risks of information manipulation and disinformation through digital platforms. All of the above has led to the essential analysis of the impact that social media has on national security.
