Dincolo de hypertext: textul generat de inteligenţa artificială [Articol]

Abstract

În spaţiul online, atât dotarea automată a textului cu hyperlinkuri(transformându-l într-o structură nonlineară, adică în hypertext), cât şi operaţiunea inversă: linearizarea hypertextului – sunt problematici legate de teoria şi practica creării inteligenţei artificiale. Textul tipărit (textul-Gutenberg) se poziţionează astăzi în faţa textului generat de inteligenţa artificială (IA-text) ca un text uman versus un text-maşină, ca un text natural versus un text surogat. Şi unul, şi altul au un impact enorm asupra societății umane, iar cel din urmă s-ar putea să fie uriaş. Astfel, teoria textualităţii în accepţia lui Gérard Genette trebuie extinsă şi completată cu caracteristici ale textului generat de IA. Nu în ultimul rând, pentru umanizarea (textului) maşinii e nevoie de implicarea lingviştilor, ale căror contribuţii pot face procesul mai rapid şi mai facil. Conceptul de moarte a autorului în contextul IA revine în discuţie.

In the online space, both the automatic provision of text with hyperlinks(transforming it into a nonlinear structure, i.e. hypertext), and the reverse operation: the linearization of hypertext – are issues related to the theory and practice of creating artificial intelligence. Printed text (Gutenberg-text) is today positioned in front of text generated by artificial intelligence (AI-text) as a human text versus a machine text, as a natural text versus a surrogate text. Both have an enormous impact on human society, and the latter could be huge. Thus, the theory of textuality in the sense of Gérard Genette must be expanded and supplemented with characteristics of AI-generated text. Last but not least, the humanization of the machine (text) requires the involvement of linguists, whose contributions can make the process faster and easier. The concept of death of the author in the context of AI comes back into discussion.
