The ever-increasing incidence of cancer and diabetes and the development of antibiotic resistance necessitate the development of new drugs. Promising candidates for this role are thiosemicarbazones. Some representatives of this class of organic substances are already used in medicine. However, their high toxicity limits their use. Also, the effectiveness of these substances strongly depends on the structure of the substituents used. In this work, thiosemicarbazones based on the natural substance cinnamaldehyde and its derivatives were synthesized. These substances were investigated using NMR, FTIR and X-ray diffraction. Pharmacokinetic properties were studied based on calculations of the parameters of the Lipinski rule and molecular-docking. Biological studies have been carried out on cyanobacteria as well as antioxidative activity.en
