Abstract
L’œuvre post-moderne de Frédéric Beigbeder continue de susciter l’attention mondiale. Notre
Frédéric Beigbeder's post-modern work continues to attract worldwide attention. Our research is based on its polyphonic character, which features an infinite number of voices. The trilogy on the adventures of Octave Parango, a Beigbederian autofiction, notes the recourse to the jamming of enunciative instances. This is the material from which our observation of the multiple manifestations of otherness that puts the professional skills of translators to the test. The challenge of this research is to elucidate the translation strategies that make it possible to avoid the pitfalls of this polyphony without succumbing to the temptation of legitimizing one's own utterance in the translated text.
